Vincent Genovese had everything you could ever dream of: dozens of exotic cars, a spectacular villa along with a handful of vacation homes in various different countries, and countless of girls — and guys — willing to give up their entire lives just for him to stare in their direction.

The Genovese family was known for being one of the largest crime families in Italy. Technically, they were one of the largest in the world. Vincent's family branch in particular was incredibly powerful. They ran most of the under-the-radar operations that occurred in the mediterranean region, occasionally overseas as well.

But Vinny didn't care enough to be the mafia boy that was often portrayed in teen films and romance novels — aside from the fact that he was inarguably attractive. Sure, he had a godly aim with a gun but he much preferred to spend his time gambling rather than shooting targets. He wasn't even the heir of his family either — not that he wanted to be. Vincent was the youngest out of the three Genovese children. His two older brothers, Alexander and Nico, were far more involved with the family business than he ever would ever be.

Nevertheless he treasured his dysfunctional family. They were absolutely not the traditional, white picket fence type but he believed deep down that he was loved. He grew up his entire life being completely loyal to them and had no interest in ever leaving Italy other than the occasional vacation or mysterious rendezvous.

After making the impulse decision to take a train, the façades of everything he ever knew and loved began to crumble.
