Laughters of glee filled the air. "Come on! Join us!" Donna shouted, waving Y/N over to a group of girls who were dancing their heart outs to a song a bard in green was so kind to play for them. A bard who's name was none other than Venti. A short male who appeared petite in appearance and carefree in nature. His major obsession with wine was the most peculiar. And yet such a strange boy could play such a beautiful melody with a simple flick of his fingers against some cords. Constructing a whole story through music.
Y/N smiled hesitantly, waving her hands vigurously in front od her chest. "Oh I don't know-" Her anxiety rose up just by thinking of how terribly she danced. She could only inagine the many judging eyes that would be glaring at her with daggers behind such hateful eyes.
"Now now.... you shouldn't be so hesitant. The oppurtunity to relax and have fun is right under your finger tips." Kaeya smirked, lightly giving her a push into the crowd, nudging her on the path he saw perfect for her.
"I don't know... It looks too crowded." Y/N murmured with furrowed brows and thus pulling a bit of laughter from the tanned male beside her. With another push, she found herself stumbling into the dancing crowd, pulled in by a couple of the girls who were dancing their heart out. "About time, cutie. And here I thought you'd be another stick in the mud." Lisa's laugh rose in the air yet drained by the music that filled their ears.
"I would've been if Kaeya didn't push me." She grumbled with a look of distaste dancing along her delicate visage.
The music continued to play and the dance ensued until the moment she smacked right into a wall. Or was it a wall? That question process in her mind as she raised her head. Standing there was a man who was just passing through. His hair a bright crimson, eyes to match the same hue. He had a slight build and wore clothes that only fit nobility. Just who was he?
"Oh my god! I'm sorry! I-"
"You needn't apologize." The man was quick to interrupt the frantic girl before him. "I was passing by at the wrong time. But do be careful." He warned, pulling back his glove to adjust it back to where he wished which the female couldn't help but stare at. He appeared stoic yet kind all the same. She has never seen him before. Not that she remembered anyway.
"Ah Diluc~ So you finally show up." The velvety voice from behind her belonged to none other than Kaeya who wore a smirk so wide and smug.
That stoic expression upon the man who was named Diluc turned to utter discussed and irritation. What was up with these two? Her brows furrowed with confusion, looking from Diluc to Kaeya then back to only repeat once more. She could practically feel the tension looming in the air. A hand now sheepishly rubbed at her upper arm.
"Kaeya..." Diluc's eyes were seen narrowing down, daring the blue haired individual to try a thing which pulled a chuckle from Kaeya. "I am not here for your amusement. If that's all you've come here to say, then leave." His voice now terribly cold and almost heartless towards Kaeya. There was obviously some bad blood between the two and she did not like it one bit.
"Aww rejecting this reunion already? How disappointing. Your always so cold~" Kaeya made the smug remark feeling a thrill that he was expressing without any need to hide it. One was fueled by the enjoyment of angering the other, the other being fueled by a sense of hatred and disgust.
"You guys know eachother?" She chimed in, though the moment those words left her lips, she felt it was wrong for her to have even spoken during a dispute that was only between them.
"Ah that's right. I never told you, have I?"
"Tch. It does not matter." Diluc chimed in.
To her it did matter. Kaeya was a care free individual that simply let things roll of his back and teased others without batting an eye so seeing such distastement from him was surprising. He actually hated someone and that was a rarity to her. But unbeknownst to her, everybody knew about the rivalry between the two men before her.
She shook her head. He indeed did not tell her of this, not that it was her business to begin with.
"How about I tell you later. Come now, lets go find some drinks, shall we?" Before she could say muchbelse, Kaeya dragged her away and gave a sarcastic goodbye towards the nobleman, waving as if they were good friends when in reality they were none of the sorts. Diluc... she wondered just what and who he was. There was something about him that just spiked her curiosity.
