Nope not today. I can't deal with him.
It was 6 A.M. , what the hell was he doing up? Probably another prank on our parents. I pulled my pillow over my head and groaned. Why couldn't I have a peaceful day for once?
"Jade! Jade! Get up!" James was yelling again.
"No. I'm staying her for the rest of my life an there's nothing you can do about it!"
"Wanna bet?" He asked pulling down my covers and dragging me out of my bed by my ankle.
"NO! STOP! JAMES!" I yelled. By the time I was off my bed I couldn't hold back my laugh anymore.
"What? Is that a laugh I hear?"
"No. Now leave me alone."
"Oh come on."
"What did you do?"
"What?"
"You woke me up at 6 in the frickin' morning just to annoy me?"
"No. I wanted to know if you wanted to help me play a prank on mom and dad."
"Hell yeah.'
"Okay then. Get up."
I stood up and brushed off my pants. "What were you thinking?"
"Dung bombs."
"Yessssss."
"Let's go."
We snuck into my parents room very quietly. James pulled out 2 dung bombs from his pocket and handed one to me. We placed one in each of our parents bedside tables.
"Now run." James whisper-yelled to me.
We sprinted out of our parents room right before they went off. As soon as we were out we gave each other a high five while we waited for the mess of our parents to come out.
"WHAT THE HELL?"

The aftermath of that prank was not the best but were used to it so not that big of a deal.
Breakfast was the next step. I made because mom got called into work and dad and James can't cook for the life of them. I made some pancakes and bacon, simple enough. Once we were done, dad cleaned up the dishes and went into work. Apparently it was a busy day for the aurors, they never work at the same time, not when were home at least.
James and I sat on the couch and played some exploding snap for a while, until we saw an owl with a letter. It was a hogwarts letter, with James' name on it. He opened it quickly and there it was, his invitation to Hogwarts, while mine was no where to be seen.
