When the time hit 9:00 at night, the principal went up on the stage. He was going to let people vote so he can announce the prom king and prom queen. He grabbed his mic. "OKAY EVERYONE! IT IS TIME TO VOTE FOR THE PROM KING AND PROM QUEEN!" he said. Everyone got excited. Chris really wanted to win. So did Amerika. "I really hope I win," said Amerika. "Me too," Chris replied.
"OKAY! ITS TIME TO VOTE!" "GO TO THE SCHOOL WEBSITE ON YOUR PHONES AND PRESS PROM KING AND QUEEN VOTING," he said. Everyone listened and got onto their phones. There were 4 options for the king. It was Chris, Javier, Austin, and this other kid named Mike. For queen, it was Amerika, and girls named Kiana, Sam, and Brie. Chris voted for Austin. Austin voted Chris. Amerika voted Chris. Javier voted Chris. For queen, the four of them voted Amerika. "EEE! I HOPE I WIN!" Amerika shrieked. Waterfalls started to play in the gym. People were singing it as they voted.
"OKAY EVERYONE IT IS TIME TO ANNOUNCE WHO IS GOING TO BE PROM KING AND PROM QUEEN!" the principal shouted. He checked the website for the voting results. "Ahem. THE PROM KING OF 2021 IS.... CHRIS!" he said. Chris smiled and everyone was cheering him. The principal clapped for him. He then swiped to the next slide of the site. It showed the winner of the prom queen. "PROM QUEEN IS.... AMERIKA!" the principal then said. Amerika jumped. "YAY!" she yelled. People were clapping for her. The other girls were kind of mad or upset that they did not win.
"OKAY THE PROM KING AND QUEEN HOLD HANDS AND COME UP TO THE STAGE!" the principal said. Chris and Amerika held hands and went up the stairs, leading to the stage. The principal handed Amerika the crown for the queen, and Chris the crown for the king. They both put it on. The queen's crown was gold, with blue gems, and some pink gems sticked onto it. The king's crown was gold also, and had blue and silver gems on it.
The principal then ran off the stage. "GUYS STAY THERE!" he exclaimed. Chris and Amerika were confused but just agreed with him. The principal grabbed his camera. "SMILE GUYS!" he yelled. Chris and Amerika smiled. After the camera flashed, a bucket of water fell on both of them. They were drenched. Everyone in the room, except Javier and Austin, started to laugh. The teachers were laughing, and so was the principal. "GOT YA! HAHAHA!" he yelled. Amerika started to cry since she was embarrassed. She ran off the stage and went for the exit. Austin and Javier ran after her. They looked left and right to see where she have possibly gone.
"AMERIKA!" WHERE ARE YOU?" Austin yelled. "AMERIKA?" Javier yelled. "Austin let's split up and find her," Javier then said. Austin agreed and nodded his head. They both ran opposite directions.
Meanwhile, Chris was still on stage, stone-faced, all embarrassed. Everyone was pointing and laughing at him. He took a deep breath and decided to do it. He looked at his wrist and pressed the red button. His eyes started to glow red. He let out an evil smile. Everyone gasped. They locked eyes with him and everyone's eyes glowed red also. The principal's, teachers, EVERYONE'S! At least 237 of the students at school came to prom, and now they are hypnotized. Chris then muttered some words to ruin their lives. "FREE. FOR. ALL! Don't get me rats," he said. His eyes stopped glowing red. Everyone's also stopped. They all blinked. The people looked at one another and started to attack. "AH!" everyone screamed. Some students grabbed a knife and stabbed others. Some strangled people. The teachers were punching the kids. A student chopped up a student with a knife. Chris felt like he had the power. He was laughing. Students were screaming and dying. He saw one of them stab and murder the principal. Blood was splattered all over the floor.
The floor started to fill up with dead bodies. At least a hundred of the students and five of the teachers were dead. This one student, Ethan, was seen by Chris. Chris saw him hold a bomb. Ethan set a bomb in the center of the room. Chris did nothing but stand on the stage. Ethan was the science nerd so it makes sense how he could make a bomb. Chris saw the timer on the bomb.

Boom. The bomb exploded. Ethan fell back, and so did everyone else who was alive. The blast was so powerful, that it caused the basketball hoop to fall and hit Chris in the chest. He then fell down. He hit his head hard on the ground. Fire spread all over the gym. The bomb killed everyone in the room, including Ethan. Chris was still alive though, but he couldn't move. "HELP!" he yelled.
Javier finally found Amerika. She was in the bathroom. She fell on the ground due to the blast of the bomb. Javier was holding his arm. "Amerika, are you okay?" he asked. "Yeah, I just hit my head on the toilet when the blast came," she said. "Come on let's get up. Let's find Austin and Chris," Javier said. Amerika agreed. She held onto Javier's arm and he helped her up. They walked out of the bathroom and looked for Chris and Austin.
Austin felt the blast as well. He went back to find Chris and tried to check if he was okay. He ran back to the gym door. "CHRIS!" he yelled. As he opened the door, he saw the whole gym in flames. He could also hear some firefighters coming. He went to search around for Chris. "CHRIS! BUDDY! WHERE ARE YOU!" he yelled. Chris heard him. He decided. to speak. "Over. Here. Buddy," Chris said, hurt. Austin heard him, and saw the basketball net on Chris. He rushed over to him. "Chris! Are you okay? Let me get you out of here," he said. "No don't. I am going to die anyways. My chest hurts so bad. I hit my head hard on the floor," Chris muttered. "Oh, we should get you to a hospital," Austin said. "I don't want to die Austin. I am too young," Chris said. "Please don't die. I will be here for you," Austin said. Austin then picked Chris up. He carried him and took Chris out of the gym. Both of them went on a bench outside of the building. They saw firefighters. As Austin laid Chris down, Chris said something. "A-Austin. Want to talk a-about what I w-wanted to talk about you earlier?" he said. "Sure," he replied. Austin laid Chris' head on his lap. "Okay let's talk."
