"Hell0?" I holler. I am in a white room filled with light, but no windows or electricity installed. I sit in the center on a chair made of wood. Around me heads start to appear, unfamiliar heads. The one directly in front on me has short blonde hair with a braided crown tied up. His eyes are blue like the sky, a pretty face I am sure to remember. The other heads are blurry, only colors show. A moment passes and I find myself falling."AHH," I jump up to find myself laying in a makeshift bed in a cave. "Must have been a dream," I think to myself. Looking around me, a startled boy turns from a table and gazes at me. "Ah, your awake," he speaks softly as he approaches me. He puts a hand up to my forehead, "Your fever has gone down. That is good," he continues. I look down to see myself covered in layers of blankets. To my left is a small wooden bucket of water with a white rag hanging over the side. "I am Albedo, I found you lying unconscious in the snow," he says with a soft tone. "Do you remember what happened?" He continued. I try to speak only to find myself parched, I point to my throat in hopes the bo- or Albedo will understand why I am unable to answer.
He silently walks over to a table, upon it there are bottles of colorful liquids and a metal container containing some green substance. Albedo picks up a tube of a glowing purple substance and holds it out to me. I take it but am unsure of what to do. "This is to help with the cold and dry throat. Do not worry, it is safe, I tested it while you were asleep," Albedo confirms. I decide to take the substance in one swallow. The aftertaste remains undeniably terrible. I hand Albedo the empty tube where he then placed it back onto the table. "Apologies for taste," Albedo apologized.
"Thank you," I barely get the words out. Albedo then walks back over to me and hands me a cup of water, "Here is some water, I figured you may be thirsty upon waking up. You do not have to speak of what happened now but soon."
I take a few small sips of water, those sips them become huge gulps. "Please consider taking small sips, for that will help you retain more water," Albedo adds. I then continue taking small sips until the cup is empty, handing it back to Albedo. "More?" He asks. I shake my head and scan the room around me as albedo heads over to the table. There are tall and long shelves of glowing potions on every wall. Some books piled on the floor by the table. "You should get more rest," Albedo continues, "When you are better, we can talk about why you were lying in the snow.". I nod. I then lay down onto the makeshift bed and watch Albedo work at his table until my eyes fall closed.
