"Attacking me?" She asked, chuckling at the notion.

Using dust sewn in her dress, Cinder created her Midnight swords.

"It seems you forgot who your boss is."

In seconds, Adam appeared before Cinder. He tried to slash her only for her to block the strike. The impact echoed and caused the sand to lift from the ground.

"Time for you to remember."

Both began engaging in high-speed, close-quarter swordplay, their blades sparking with each strike.

Adam delivers a sweeping strike, but Cinder jumps high into the air and turns Midnight into its bow form. She fires three glass arrows at Adam. With a single slash, he smashed them to pieces.

However, that's what Cinder wanted. Using Scorching Caress, she superheats the glass fragments, triggering explosions that consume Adam in flames.

Cinder landed, admiring the flames.

While she wasn't the most adept in her swordsmanship against Adam, she was sure of herself in her archery and semblance, Scorching Caress.

Suddenly, the flames start to go down, much to her surprise. As the flames lowered, one could see Adam, unfazed by the fire. Upon further examination, one could see strands of energy leaving the fire and going into his chokutō.

As time went by, the fires died down as Adam's hair and anything else red on him glowed brightly.

Cinder narrowed her gaze, recognizing what just happened.

"Moonslice," She said.

Moonslice. Adam's semblance. He absorbs and stores energy into his weapon. With the stockpile of energy, he can send it back to his opponent.

However, that is only one of the semblance's capabilities. From that stored energy, he can use that power to augment his physical abilities, giving him tremendous strength and agility. Still, if he lose his weapon, those increases would be gone.

"The heat energy from the flames. You absorbed them into your weapon," She said.

Cinder cracked a smile.

"Interesting. You could never do that before."

Adam felt thankful to Jaune. He gave him the idea and constantly aura-amped him.

"You'll see I'm not as weak as I was before," He said.

Cinder snorted.

"We'll see about that."

Adam unleashed a red energy slash at Cinder.

"This move again," She thought, feeling Adam was predictable.

She simply side-stepped. However, Adam appeared by her. He thrust his blade to her side and concentrated the energy into a single point.

"Point Break!"

*BOOM!*

Cinder was sent flying, slamming into the wall. As she readjusted herself, she felt a red energy slash hit her in the chest.

"AAAAAAAAHHH!!!!" She yelled in pain.

She looked forward, seeing three energy slashes heading her way. She jumped high and landed on the second floor of the Colosseum just before attacks demolished the wall.

"That's it," She said before her eyes had a fiery glow to them.

Soon, the wind gathered around her, lifting her into the air.
