Jaune and Belze stared at each other. The former smiled in nostalgia as the frigid breeze graced his skin.
"Ah, this cold. It reminds me of when I broke those criminals out of the Gu Prison."
Belze's expression was not of amusement. Hidden behind it was rage. Jaune could sense his uncle's anger as well as hatred.
"Oh, don't be so mad."
"Did you forget? I left the rest of the prisoners dead."
"Bet that made the Mistralian taxpayers happy."
Belze's expression hadn't changed.
"Return them."
"Return what?"
"The weapons you stole from the Arc clan and the prisoners."
"Oh, you mean-"
He reached behind and took out Dioskouri, brandishing them in front of Belze.
"These?"
Belze was fuming in rage.
"Oh yeah, I feel that rage growing," He thought
"And a little bloodlust."
"Oooooh. And not an ounce of hesitation anymore."
"Last chance," Belze said gripping Gungnir tightly.
Jaune quickly spun the tonfas around.
"Come and get 'em."
Suddenly, Jaune disappeared, his coat being the only thing left behind. He quickly appeared before Belze and struck his side, only for Belze to block with his spear.
He struck at Belze's head, but the latter blocked the attack with his spear again.
Jaune continued with a rapid flurry of strikes, only for Belze to block each and every one of the attacks.
As these two kicked off their own fight, others were just about to start their own.

Sephria looked out at her opponent, as the sun blocked any appearance. Soon, her enemy leaped forward and landed before her.
To Sephiria's surprise, she was face to face with Eve Taurus. She had two katanas holstered to her left hip.
The last time she saw Eve was years ago at her grandparents' funerals. Both were considered as two of Alsie's pupils. Despite not seeing each other, the spies the Arcs had in the White Fang kept Sephiria up to date on Eve's movements. The last thing she heard was Eve joining the White Fang before disappearing. After that, there was no intel on the Blazing Fang...At least until now.
"Eve," She said losing her shock.
"Hello Sephiria," Eve said, narrowing her gaze at the Arc.
Suddenly, Eve raised her sword blocking Sephiria's strike. As their blades were intertwined, Sephiria looked at Eve with intense hatred.
Eve was not deterred. Soon, winds picked up, sending sand into Sephiria's eyes. She flinched and leaped back.
She quickly wiped away the sand from her eyes just as Eve was in front of her. Eve swung the blunt side of her katana at Sephiria's head, causing the former to block.
*CLANK!*
Sephiria was sent sliding back across the sand. She glared at Eve.
"You bitch! You dare use my grandmother's swordsmanship for Alex Mercer?!"
