The next day I was sitting on my bed, I was so upset. My mom had told me I wasn't allowed to leave my room excpept for school. It was a early sunday morning, maybe about seven. I cried tears of pure frustration. This was ridiculous. There had to be a way out. Somehow, I was going to escape this living hell. I had to. I stomped downstairs not caring. Found the gun hidden under the couch and walked into my parents room. I figured he would be back by now after realizing I must be okay since nobody called him from the hospital. Of course, he was sitting on his butt like the bum he is watching ESPN. I walked in and before he could react pointed it at him and told him to get up. I hoped that the element of suprise would work. It did, but only for a few seconds. He went from shock and fearful to comical and fearless. Cockiness wasn't going to help him here, because I had finally lost it. "What're you gonna do with that?" he chuckled. "Shoot you obviously, maybe kill maybe paralyze you. I haven't decided yet." I said a serious as I had ever been. He glared at me. " I highly doubt that." I glared back. " Oh well while you're doubting I will just ponder whether to keep you alive to suffer or finally rid myself of you for good. Put your hands up and make your way out of the room. We're going outside. And not through the kitchen I'm not stupid. Go towards the back." He followed his orders obediently with a dumb smirk. He didnt get it did he? I wasn't playing. I aimed the gun about a inch from his head and pulled the trigger. "And next time I won't miss." I spit with as much venom as I could. " I'm sure you won't." he said in a bland tone. He opened the door and walked outside. I stopped instead of following him. " Now, you're going to leave. But here is the good part. You are NEVER going to come back. If even a TOE puts foot on this property I will shoot you dead. And that's a promise." I slammed the door and watched from the windows as he walked away calmly. When I couldn't see him any more I went back into my room and collapsed into a pile of tears. I haven't seen him since.
