Chasing After a Colorful Dream (HIATUS)

Prologue

"...and finished!" A 10-year-old girl with brown hair that just reaches below her neck cheers in excitement as she holds up a pair of fingerless gloves. One glove had a keystone in the middle of it, perfect for a certain raven haired trainer who also has a Lucarionite.

"So cool!" The raven haired trainer's eye were shining brightly as he accepted the handmade gift. He put them right on, missing the feeling of his hands being covered. "Thanks, Kirsten!"

The girl, known as Kirsten, just smiled back brightly.

Her actual name is Kirsten Kazeko and, although she does not remember it, she was once a very unhappy 24 year old on Earth who saw a Shiny Ho-oh pass over a double rainbow. It is said that Ho-oh will reveal itself before pure-hearted trainers by shining its bright rainbow colored wings, alongside anyone who sees it is promised eternal happiness. Although she did not quite know it at the time, she also wanted to forget all her sadness, trauma, and depression. That being said, her whole life was that in a nutshell, so as she chased the legendary Pokémon, her own memories were replaced with the happiest Pokémon timeline she could think of at the time. If Kirsten ever remembered her true past, she would realize this was exactly what she wanted.

Another thing Kirsten doesn't know is that at this point, she basically looks like a female version of Hilbert (with his exact attire), but her hair is wavy instead of spiky.

Kirsten has been searching for a goal within the world of Pokémon, not exactly sure what she wants to do. Well, she kinda does know... but there isn't an end-goal: to experience all the world has to offer. A never ending dream; perfect for someone who's in a happy dream that will never end.

To be a little more precise, Kirsten is looking for her next adventure. Little does she know that her next adventure will find her... as a double rainbow begins to form above the sky of Vermilion City...
