Missing

It was quiet. Not a word was spoken between us. We then soon arrived at what I can assume was her home. She then walked into the house, her face being devoid of emotion. I followed her and she then went to a dresser and pulled out a mask. It fit her face perfectly, as if it was tailored to fit. It didn't have any strings, it just sat there as if it was magic.

I then noticed the massacre before us. "So he got your family too." I said to try and break the silence. I then saw tears fall from behind her mask. 'That's odd I thought to myself.' her scent hadn't changed from melancholic to pure sadness. Pressure then began to set into the air as she walked outside and seemed to pull a shovel from the side of the door and began digging.

After about an hour of digging, she then walked inside and began pulling the bodies out."One is missing." She said, finally breaking the silence. "Who ?" I was a bit confused. "My mother. " she replied in an angered tone. " That bastard ! couldn't let her rest after this event." That's when it hit me, the same scent that was at my house is here too. He killed two families and turned two victims.

Several bangs could be heard as Rimuru was hitting something inside. All I could do was finish burying the bodies.

We soon left the house and set out for Sangiri. We had traveled for a whole day and night before stopping at a nearby cave for some rest. When the sun arose I noticed a house nearby. I then saw a basket with holes in it. I then had the idea to fix up the basket and carry Nezuko in it. I then turn to see what I can only assume was the owner of said house working the land. "Excuse me sir. I would like to buy that basket and tools to repair it." I say pointing to said basket.

"Ehh, ohh yeah don't worry about it just take it" he replies

"No, I insist I pay." I say.

"What !? Are you deaf I said take it."

" I insist !" I say as I take his hand and smack the money in his hand and run grab the basket and book it back to the cave as I hear the man yelp in pain.

Rimuru -

When I awoke I saw Tanjiro fixing a basket. " What are you doing Tanjiro ?" I said as I stretched. "Fixing a basket so that I can carry Nezuko during the day. he replied. It was then I noticed Nezuko sitting in a hole she had dug to avoid the sun. 'jeez she must seriously want to avoid the sun.' [Notice] Due to irregularities in a demon's physiology the sun seems to burn the atoms that make up the cells that allow them to have inhuman capabilities. 'Thank you Ciel for the explanation and the warning. If you didn't remind me what Giyu told about the sun and Nezuko it would have been a nightmare.'

"Nezuko can you get in the basket ?" Tanjiro said suddenly and I was dumbfounded. She clearly would not fit. As if to make my point even more true she made a half hearted attempt to get in. Tanjiro seemed to think to himself for a second and then a lightbulb went off in his head. "Hey Nezuko member, when you make yourself taller can you do that again but in reverse."

'Wait she can change size ?' As I thought that she flipped the basket up right and seemingly got smaller. "Good job Nezuko !" Tanjiro said whilst rubbing her head as she seemed to give a happy huff from behind her gag. 'What is she a pet ?' " [Master if you can't tell Tanjiro is not good with little kids and does not know how to respond] 'That is most certainly a logical way to look at this.' [Praise me more] 'hehe' She is quite prideful isn't she.

It was getting late out as the sun was beginning to set when we saw a lady and a kid. "You two shouldn't be out so late. People have been going missing recently." she said. "Not to worry ma'am we will be fine." Tanjiro says. "Okay now just try to get in soon." she says ushering her kid to move along as they continue on their way.

As they continue on their venture Tanjiro lets Nezuko out of the basket and walk for the night. It was not long after that when I sensed a demon nearby, it seemed to be eating. Eating innocent people. It made me sick. Tanjiro seemed to smell the blood in the air and without a second thought he bolted off to the scene. 'good god how good is his nose.'

I began to chase after him as he arrived at the site of this gruesome scene. He stopped in pure shock and horror or disgust,depending on how you look at it. As Nezuko and I arrive the demon begins to speak. "Can't you see im eating, bug off." he says and turns to see us he then gets a puzzled face. "Wait a second, something is off here," he says. I hold my tongue back from giving a response. He lunges at Tanjiro and it caught me off guard. " I knew something was off. What's a demon traveling with two humans ?"

Without a second thought I ran over and kicked the demon off Tanjiro and as if it was a WWE combo move Nezuko comes in and kicks and I mean KICKS off the demon's head and his body goes limp.'ouch.' I thought. 'I wasn't trying to kill it,just trying to immobilize it.' [Well it's still not dead master. You can only kill a demon by decapitation via special swords known as Nichirin blades, complete destruction of the body or the sun as mentioned before.] 'Ahh good to know.' As I walked over to Tanjiro who had his head in his lap. He wore a face of pure horror.

'This kid.' I thought as I lifted my head up. " Oi ! I know you're still alive." I said as I turned the head to see my face or mask if you will. "Tell me what you know of Muzan Kibutsuji." I said in the most stern voice I could muster. "Tsk I ain't gotta tell you human scum anything !" he yelled and as he did his body sprang back up and began to attack Nezuko. I wasn't having any of this so I inhaled deeply and smashed his head into the ground. A very visible crater can be seen where I smashed his head.

He was very much still alive as he was constantly swearing and tried to grow arms from his head and me. "Tanjiro, your hatchet." I said calmly. He tosses me his axe and I pin his head to a tree. He squirms for a bit to try and free himself. I then ran over to assist Nezuko who was still fighting the headless body. But then out of nowhere Tanjiro comes from left field screaming " Get away from my sister !!!" and pushes the body and himself off the edge of a cliff. I leaped to grab his hand and I did by a stroke of luck.

We then return to see the demon's head still moving. " Now that's over talk,NOW !!!" I am a bit agitated. For the next couple of seconds the demon swears and incoherent insults. 'Hey Ciel, is there a way to make Tanjiro immune to my aura right now ?' [Yes and no. Yes you can make him immune to the negative effects of your Hakai via a barrier. However the pressure one feels can not be negated.] With that I cast a discrete barrier over Tanjiro and Nezuko as well and remove my mask.

With that my aura is released and the demon's face changes from anger to fear. "I would suggest you begin with a final warning." I said with a smirk.
