"So you have never been to a match in real before?", Aadrik laughed as we drove to a convenience store conversing about yesterday's events.
"My parents were too concerned about my safety", I rolled my eyes in exasperation.
" They were like what's there in screaming and churning in between disgusting sweaty people", I chuckled along with him.
"That made me remember, we haven't met your parents in the last four months. Don't they like...call you?", he asked uncertainly. I am sure he thought this is pretty much an uncomfortable conversation for me.
"They didn't call me and it isn't a new thing. Don't worry, I am doing great with you and yeah... maybe we should visit them sometime. After all they are still my family", he smiled in response and we parked the car near the trees shade.
We took a cart and passed through the shelves filled with instant and junk foods. I was searching for the cereals section when he randomly started adding all the things his hands found from the shelves.
"Stop it, idiot. We don't need that much and even... that would be so unhealthy", I hissed slapping his hands away. But the annoying ass didn't pay heed and kept on adding randomly as I concentrated on my list which the maid made.
"Come on I am making the business for the owner. I am sure he would be happy and might give us some good extra things", this made me sigh thinking is this really a man?
"That's not how it works here. God why did I have to bring you here?", I grunted making him laugh loudly and some turned to see us.
"You should have thought that before rejecting to go out with me but coming to this boring supermarket. Its not as if you had to do this yourself", he stuck his tongue as I awkwardly smiled and waved off the predatory eyes.
"Can you talk a bit low? We are grabbing too much attention", I whispered in his ears pushing the cart.
"Not my problem that I am just too gorgeously handsome that people can't take their eyes off", he casually shrugged making the urge to hit him with the same tin can of jalapenos in his hands.
"You are making it even harder for me to like you", I poked his arm.
"You can love me if you don't want to like me", he batted his eyelashes innocently bending to my height.
"Akriti?", a strong male voice from behind caught my attention. Aadrik visibly stiffened and turned see who spoiled the moment of him.
"Oh... hey Rohan", I grinned seeing my childhood friend after so many years. Apparently just two years as he went outside the country for some project which I might have forgotten about.
