A shy smile formed on my lips and my eyes focus on the ground again.
The other boys introduce themselves as Louis, Liam and Zayn. Robbert and Juiliet go to talk to other people and the guys I just met take me to the bar in the corner of the room. We talk for a bit and I soon came to realise that they are actually really nice. Even Harry is acting normal around me and his cheekiness from before toned down a little. The guys tell me about their adventures at the show The X-factor which they participate in and they mention that they've been put together with one other boy who's hanging somewhere around here.
"Oh, there he is. This is Niall Horan, our other band mate." Liam says.
When I hear his name, the world stops. Niall, my best friend... the one that got away. He's here...
I turn around and there he is. When he sees me he stops in his tracks. We just stare at each other, not able to move. He changed a lot, he's got braces and... just got... hot? No, I can't say that. He was my best friend. I can't say that!
Niall blinks and opens his mouth to speak, but closes it again after not being able to form words.
"Nialler..." I whisper.
"Billie Bear" he whispers with a smile.
I can't stand the distance between us any longer. My feet start to move and I run into his arms. He picks me up and spins me around. My head is buried in the crook of his neck and I wrap my arms around the body a man that two years ago was just a boy. He wraps his arms around my body and gives me one of his famous Horan hugs. That's what I've missed the most, his hugs. It feels like no one can hurt you, that you're save and he'll never let you go.
"I missed you so much Nialler"
"I missed you too, Billie Bear." He says after kissing my temple.
I blush and a tingling feeling traced the place where he kissed me.
"Excuse me, but did I miss something?" Harry asked with genuine astonishment.
"You know each other?" Louis follows.
"This is that girl that I told you about. This is Billie, my best friend from two years ago."
"Oh, that girl you talk about every hour of the day." Zayn jokes.
I blush at Zayn's comment and look at Niall. Niall's cheeks turn to a shade of red and smiles at me with a sparkle in his eyes.
"Well, you must have a lot of catching up to do, so we'll leave you love birds alone now." Liam chimes in and pulls the boys with him to the other side of the room.
I turn myself to Niall and give him another hug.
"I really missed you Niall. Why didn't you call or text me after you left?" I murmur into his neck.
"You don't know how much I've missed you when I left. And I will explain everything, but I don't think this is a really good place for that." He drags me across the room and we head up a hallway. Some stairs appear which lead up to a boys bedroom. It's really messy with clothes lying everywhere and candy wrappers cracking under your feet wherever you walk.
"Sorry for the mess, but I didn't expect a gorgeous lady in my room." He says winking, making me blush. Really, since when did he have this effect on me? He's just my best friend... right?
