Nothing. That's what I felt, as I looked up at the night sky. Cold grass was brushing against my uniform, making my back damp, but I didn't mind. Cold air enveloped my body as I felt my mind drifting off. I spread my arms out and took a deep breath in."Is this what peacefulness feels like?" I questioned myself.
My body felt like it was drifting off into sleep, all of my worries and stress seemed to slip away as I closed my eyes and took another deep breath in.
"That's what you call peace?" A separate voice asked.
I sat up and turned my head so fast I almost gave myself whiplash. My peace had flown out the window as I found out the person who the voice had belonged to.
"I wouldn't call that peace, you looked kinda like a dead starfish to me." Gojo pointed out as he sat down besides me.
"If your looking to relax why not just be a dead starfish on your bed instead of on the cold grass in the middle of the night." His face twisted in concern as he pulled down his glasses to look me in the eyes.
His eyes...I could stare into them forever. Most people compared them to the sky or the ocean, and they weren't wrong. They were a heavenly blue with a tint of purple, but I saw something deeper...something untouched, like an unpainted canvas, or a blank piece of paper. It was like they were empty and full of possibilities at the same time.
They were beautiful.
"Hey, earth to Suguru." I snapped back into reality as Gojo flicked my forehead. "Are you okay?" He asked. "I think all that peace went straight to your brain."
"Will you get off the topic of "peace"." I yelled at him, a smile plastering itself along my face. "Hey, your the one who stared it with the whole, "is this peace" thing.
"I was just relaxing, you got a problem with that Mr. Manchild?" I retaliated, using the nickname Mr. Yaga had given him. He threw his head back and laughed laying his back down on the grass.
Oh God his laugh...
I felt a blush creeping up on my face as I played back down, my body only a couple inches from him.
"Why are you out here this late, were supposed to be in are dorms already." Gojo asked his head turning over to look at me.
"I like to look at the stars." I replied looking back at him.
Maybe I shouldn't have turned to look at him. My lips were only a couple of centimeters from his. My face flushed as I turned my head to the other side quickly.
"Are you okay?" Gojo ask his voice filled with concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine." My face was still flushed. "You sure, you don't look alright." He climbed over top off me, gripping my chin so I would look up at him.
Holy shit...He's on top off me. My face flushed an even deeper red. Gojo must have noticed what position we were in because he instantly got of me and started apologizing.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that position over top of you!" His face was now as brightly colored as mine.
"It's alright." I said trying to calm him down. "I kind of liked it."
"What?" He looked up at me, his eyes wide.
"I said that out loud didn't I." Gojo shook his head yes as I accepted my fate.
"I really like you Satoru, and I have for a while!" I closed my eyes as I waited for him to reply.
"YES, LETS GO!" I heard him shout as he tackled me. I reopened my eyes to see him over top of me a wide grin on his face. "I like you too!" A smile began to find it way to my lips as I found my way to his. I kissed, nothing much but it felt like the gods have descended upon us.
We released are lips from one another. "So?" He asked "Can we be a thing?"
I kissed him again, holding it for a little bit longer. "I would love nothing more."
