"Ready to see your new home?!" He glances back at me, wasting no time and heading for the parking lot. Planes land and take off behind us. I look up at the purple indigo sky. It's peppered with twinkling stars, breath taking, honestly.

I have been aimlessly following Eli, I realize we're at his car, I put my bags in the trunks and head to the left side of the car.

"You plan on driving?!" Eli looks at me funny.

"Oh awkward right," I let out a laugh, "forgot we were in England..."

Eli chuckled at me and we crossed paths in front of his little blue car.

I tucked my head under the roof and slid into the car. He started it quickly and I continued to look out the window at the stars. We made small talk for 10 minutes before he began about his roommates, or flat mates as he refers to them.

"I live with a bunch of boys, it's a pretty big apartment, expensive too, so with more people the cheaper it is."

"Oh right gotchya," I peeled my face away from the cold glass to look at him.

"How many guys are there exactly?" I was expecting something ridiculous like 10 people. Oh shit I would hate my parents then.

"There's 8 of us, 9 now," he grinned at me. Great.

"Oh. Well, hey, thanks for letting me stay with you for the summer. Not sure how my mom bribed you into this.." My voice trailed off.

" oh come on! She didn't bribe me! Can't this just be a nice thing that one cousin did for another?!" He sounded so cheesy.

" oh bullshit. How much did she give you?" I was actually curious.

"Just enough to pay for your part of rent," he said, almost shameful.

"I can get you more if you want," I said.

"Addy you don't need to give me money, this just made the summer better! The boys are all excited to meet you and I haven't see you in years!"

I rolled my eyes at his answer.

"Seriously Addison, this summer is going to be fun, I promise."

"Okay, okay," I agrees only half rolling my eyes again.

..............................................

With traffic, it took a good half hour or so to get to Eli's apartment. Flat. Whatever. It was made of bricks, nothing special. Looked welcoming, more than my house back home did. The door was a bright fire truck red, I liked it. No other doors on the street were red. It made the small house stand out in the crowd. I stood on the sidewalk examining the place.

"Coming?" Eli asked as he brushed past me carrying my bags. I nodded, realizing this was my home for the time being. As annoyed as I was, I had to accept it. I had nothing better to do at home.

Eli turned the handle clockwise and gave the door a little shove, it opened into a large foyer. Tan paint covered the walls, sneakers and shoes lay on the slate floor.

"Hey guys we're home!!" Eli yelled up a set of stairs my eyes had missed. He made a hmmph sound and led me into a kitchen where chatter came from. The kitchen was very outdated compared to mine at home, but I liked it. You could tell it had been lived in, used. People had made messes here, cleaned them up and made more. My kitchen back home was hardly used.

A boy with short, almost curly, dark brown hair glanced up from his conversation with two other boys. The boy I made eye contact with was young, "Carter?!" I asked.

He smiled, "you do remember!"

"Nah just a guess!" It came off as a joke but inside, I truly wasn't sure.

The two other boys chuckled, one got up and came over to me, holding out his hand. I took it, and then gave him a hand shake. I almost got lost in his green eyes as they starred into my soul. His light brown hair was short and messy, like he just rolled out of bed. His jeans said the same, wrinkly and worn. They seemed to suit him. His muscles rippled under his blue button up as his arm moved up and down with out shake.

"James," he said, "Addison," I replied, letting go of his hand.

"This is Lucas," he motioned to the guy behind him, still sitting at a small kitchen island. Lucas gave a small wave, "How's is going?" He said. Lucas's blonde shaggy hair fell in his eyes, he was definitely over due for a hair cut. He was cute though, his sweatpants and t shirt didn't exactly give me much to work with.

Before I could answer, a god appeared in the archway behind the boys. He was one of those tall dark and handsome types. "Damn Eli, I thought you said your LITTLE cousin was coming from across the lake," he winked and Lucas smacked the gods chest. He had dark hair that fell above his grey blue piercing eyes. He had a tall figure, six foot four at least. His arms were pretty much jacked under his plain black vneck. His dark washed jeans just completed his bad ass look.

"What?!" He said to Lucas, rubbing his chest as if if actually hurt.

"I'm Mason," his arm outstretched and I reached out, meeting it half way.

"Addison." I said. God could it get any hotter in here?

"Ok. Yeah let's go find the rest of the boys," Eli said tugging at my arm.

I followed Eli into a den like room, four boys starred at the tv, playing video games. Modern warfare probably. I don't know video games for shit. "Guys, this is Addison," one of the boys turned around, as soon as he saw me, he hit pause. The three other hoodlums groaned and turned around, silencing themselves.

"Hey," I gave them a small smile.

The boy that paused it stood up, he was a little taller than I was, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Of course. "Cody," he said reaching out his hand. I shook it and the rest of the boys introduced themselves, Shawn, Decker and Noah.

I heard footsteps and Mason stood in the doorway, "I'll show you your room, well our room." He put emphasis on the our.

"Our room!" Decker corrected him. Well alright. I guess I could share a room with 2 boys. Not. Fuck.

"Cool," I said.

Mason lead the way up the stairs. He lead me down a small, narrow hallways with 5 doors. He stopped at the third on the right. "Your humble abode awaits you," he said sarcastically. Here goes nothing I suppose.
