Jungkook's POV
Another flurry of ringtones from my cell resounded through the dark walls of my studio. I picked it up using my right hand while my left was busy with the ball pen. 

"it hasn't been completed yet'' I pinched my nose bridge, getting a negative answer once more and a stern reminder of the deadline. ''I am doing it right now, is it that hard to understand that it's not done yet?'' I scrunched the paper in my hand as I disconnected the call.

but in a moment, my phone was ringing again. getting determined to lash out now, I hastily attended the call and angrily spoke.

but the reply was in a relaxed tone and not the voice I was expecting. ''y-yes jimin-hyung'' ''you ok jungkook? why so angry?'' a deep sigh left my mug as I once more sat down snugly. 

''just work'' I shrugged. ''What about you? everything fine?'' I asked as it was quite late for him to be calling me. ''not really, where's y/n?'' I furrowed my eyebrows before answering. 

''sleeping, why?'' ''She already slept?''. Now my hesitance and curiousness grew. ''Did you have any work with her?''. There was silence for a moment before he began to speak again.

''Jihyo left to meet her mother and she insisted she stays the night but now min-ji is not stopping her wailing, what should I do with her jungkook-ah?'' he whined like a baby as a giggle elicited my mouth. 

''But it's ok, don't wake y/n up, I know she'll kill you if you do so'' another smile lingered on my smile as I reminisced about my wife. ''She'll kill me if she gets to know that she missed the chance to meet min-ji because of me '' a laugh was heard from the other side and it was then that I noticed Jimin's daughter's loud weeping.

''Ok then, but make it quick, I feel like my ears are gonna bleed'' he exaggerated as I got up to make my way to y/n. 

to say she loved jimin's daughter min-ji was an oversimplification. she was head over heels for her, totally whipped for a 1-year-old. 

and the love she showered upon min-ji was returned with the same enthusiasm. min-ji could only be handled by y/n after her mother, Jihyo, because of which Jimin always called her for help.

Author's POV 
You sat beside Jungkook, constantly yawning on your way to Jimin's house. '' Jimin said to not wake you up'' Jungkook spoke, noticing your droopy eyes. you tsked. ''no one can stop me from meeting min-ji'' jungkook laughed as you too broke into a smile at your theatrical response. 

''When are they leaving?'' you asked. Jimin was moving to another city, sad for you as you won't be able to meet your sweet little angel every weekend.

''After 2 days, min-ji's gonna miss you'' the smile didn't fade from either of your faces, it just turned into a sad one. ''Of course, she loves me''.

At Jimin's house 
You walked straight to the jimin in whose arms the little girl kept crying. you gently held her in your arms and rocked her side to side as jimin flexed his shoulders and groaned.

''She doesn't ever get tired of crying'' he remarked. min-ji's sobs died down as you pecked her cheeks and gave her a smile which she returned with the cutest one ever.

Jimin's jaw dropped as he stood with his mouth agape and eyes squinted suspiciously. ''I've been trying for the past 2 hours how can you calm her down just by a smile'' he whined as jungkook came closer to min-ji too, playing with her.

Jimin propped himself on the couch as sealed his eyes until a loud exasperated voice followed by subsequent steps reverberated in the house. then appeared taehyung with shopping bags in his hands and his face sweating.

Jimin raised his head to take a glance before throwing it back again. ''We don't need it anymore, this witch managed to enchant my daughter into peace'' Jimin opened his eyes slightly to see if you heard him call you a witch but you were too busy with min-ji to acknowledge anything.

he gasped a sigh of relief but was left wide-eyed by your voice. ''I heard you'' you shot him a glare as you sat down with min-ji on your lap. ''when did you come and what's all this?'' Jungkook asked Taehyung as they both proceeded to sit too. 

''I've been suffering with jimin for the past 2 hours, he said to bring min-ji's favorite snacks to quiet her'' he sighed. ''this idiot could've called y/n earlier'' another sigh.

''it's so peaceful like this, ahh quietness, I missed this'' jimin dramatically stated as y/n shot him a what-the-hell look before proceeding to take min-ji to her room.

Jungkooks's POV
I watched y/n slowly rock min-ji to sleep from the open door of the bedroom as jimin scrolled through his phone while taehyung had long gone to dreamland.

''how's it going with her?'' Jimin intervened in my thoughts as my eyes turned to meet him. ''She's gotten comfortable around me now and has opened up too'' Jimin nodded his head. 

None of us were oblivious to the fact that y/n had been the most secretive of all. It had taken me almost three years to make her my girlfriend in college, then another two years to make her agree to marry me. 

Her love for me was much deeper and stronger than mine. But the amount of times she had been betrayed was also another very long list. 
But I knew her feelings. I understood her thoughts. She trusted me now.

''she is really going to miss min-ji, spending time with her did help her relieve some stress'' jimin thought for a moment before getting closer to me. ''why don't you have a family of your own with her?'' my eyes visibly got wider as I contemplated the thought. 

it wasn't that having a family with her didn't cross my mind but just that I didn't know if she was ready. ''will she be ok with it?'' I articulated my thoughts. ''Well from the look of it, she absolutely loves babies so I'm sure you'll get your desired answer if you ask her'' Jimin shrugged, leaving me in a deep quandary.

''stay for the night, I'm afraid min-ji's gonna wake up and throw a tantrum again'' I nodded at his words, my eyes finding y/n's figure again. Her slow humming to help min-ji sleep to gentle touches on her hair made me reminisce about Jimin's words.

Time Skip: Y/N's POV
We walked inside our house, back from jimin's this morning. I made my way to the kitchen and filled a glass of water before sitting down. Jungkook came subsequently. 

''min-ji looked so cute yesterday, didn't she?'' I chimed but noticed jungkook's awkward stance standing still between the kitchen. ''what's wrong with you?'' I asked as he shrugged before sitting beside me.

''ah, now I won't even have something to look forward to after a whole week of working'' I sulked as the thought of meeting min-ji every weekend was what got me through the rough working days.

''We can have our own'' jungkook's mumbling made me glance at him. ''what?'' I asked, not catching his prior words. but instead of repeating, he got closer to me. I visibly gulped as my eyes wavered.

''We can have our own baby'' he said, his eyes showing nothing but sincerity and his anticipation of my answer. He gently caressed my knuckles with his thumb as I bit my lip, pondering his idea.

The thought of being a mom alone made my stomach churn in an inexplicable excitement. The thought of having a little angel of my own made my heartbeat increase.

it would be a dream come true. I had to note down the painful journey that came with it but I would always have jungkook by my side. then what's left behind?

I trusted him. He had given me every reason to do so. Yet I knew at times my distant self made him insecure and unsure. Having a little one between us would prove my believe in him and make our bond stronger. 

Jungkook nudged me and raised his eyebrows on my eyes meeting his. my answer is left behind. ''can't we have a baby y/n?'' he asked again.

 I nodded my head as a smile made its way to his edges. the most beautiful I had seen till now. something about it was just so pure that it made me want to pat my back on the answer I had given him.

It was hard not to mirror his ethereal smile as I too decorated a subtle one too but that just lasted a moment before morphing into a wide grin. 

we would have our own family!
