It's like he was tearing up on Frustation,Fear,and not wanting to let Oswald go..
But then Oswald Realized..

That he's going to moved tomorrow.Which means he would leave Mickey Behind.
He also realized that he Left Ortensia for hours now.Leaving all the work To her,when he already told her to rest because of her big pressure on helping Oswald.

If anything,those two have Big Pressures.

This is also the reason why they never let each other go,Even if Life hits hard for them,they still keep on track.They still stick together till the rain ends,They still stick together even if it means sacrificing the other one.
They also rarely fight.Rarely fight on blaming each other.
Because mostly,they we're blaming themselves.

And Mickey,Wasn't too far from that.He seems like he wanted everyone to be happy.

He wanted people to be happy especially for their life's sake!

In conclusion,he has the pressure of carrying everyone's Happyness.

He likes to share his Happiness to others,who really needing it the most.when he should just Has all the Happiness for Himself.
But nooo!!he had to gave it most of those Happiness away and just really went with it.
Like Minnie For example,He tried to protect her from all kinds of things so many times,not realizing that it might took his Life!
Which it doesn't for the love and long live of Modern Cartoons!
He loved Her so much!He loved his Friends,Family,And..Well,Me,Oswald the Lucky Rabbit!
And well,He knows it!
He knows He always Had everyone their Smile faces!
After all,that's what he was Planning to do with me..

But there's one thing that he doesn't know about His Cartoony self.
