Warning: Mention of Suicide

Snatching his phone back from Jeongguk, Taehyung quickly walked out of the music room and this time, he purposely held his bag straps so that Jeongguk will not have the chance to hold his wrist again.

Jeongguk who saw Taehyung's action, chuckled slightly and muttered "cute".

Realizing that it's lunch period now, Taehyung decides to find the cafeteria. 

He was so focused in searching that he failed to focus on the hand coming to wrap around his shoulder.

Taehyung jolt in surprise when he felt the hand around him, he quickly turn around and was about to punch the culprit when his fist was stopped just in time.

"HOLY SHIT !! VANTAE ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME, YOUR ONE AND ONLY HOPE, JHOPE !!"

Hearing that Taehyung let out a sigh of relief as he recognised the person in front of him, he initially thought it was a pervert and was about to punch the hell out of him.

Infront of him was none other than Jung Hoseok also known as Jhope, Vantae's one and only friend.

Jhope was the only one who stayed beside Vantae even when Vantae was cold and rude to him as Jhope knew that inside, Vantae is actually a softie who does not like to show his feelings because of his past.

Taehyung also remembered that in the novel when Jeongguk tortured Vantae, Jhope was the only one trying to find proof that he did not do the things the heroine accused him off.

However, by the time Jhope managed to find the evidence, he was too late as Vantae succumbed to his injuries and died. 

Jhope who felt that it was all his fault, committed suicide. 

Taehyung came out of his daze when Jhope shook him. Realizing that he have yet to answer, Taehyung cleared his throat.

"Obviously, I won't kill my one and only hope" Taehyung poutely said.

Jhope pinched himself to see if he was dreaming after seeing the pout on Vantae's face. The last he saw such an expression on Vantae was when they were both 10 years old.

He felt even more confused when Vantae all of a sudden hugged him tightly. He pinched himself even harder this time.

"OUCH !! I'm definitely not dreaming" Jhope thought.

Taehyung who felt overwhelmed with emotions quickly hugged Jhope in order for him not to see his teary eyes.

Seeing Jhope made Taehyung remember about his soulmate, Jimin. 

"I miss Jiminie, I hope he is fine" Taehyung thought sadly.

Though Jhope was confused, he hugged Vantae back as he could sense that Vantae was feeling down.

After a while of hugging, they let go of each other and cleared their throats awkwardly.

"Let's go to the cafeteria tae tae, I'M SO HUNGRY, I COULD EAT A WHALE !!" 

After getting their food, they both sat down and started to talk about what they did during their summer break.

"Hey tae tae, why did you not come to maths class today ?? Ms Smith said that 2 new students will be joining our class however, she only introduced 1 of them.

Her name was Nina, OH GOD !! SHE LOOKS SO CUTE AND INNOCENT THAT I WANTED TO PINCH HER CHEEKS." Jhope excitedly said.

Cough cough

"Urm, I overslept that's why I did not managed to come for the first few periods and its nice that we will be getting two new classmates I guess" Taehyung said while showing a small smile even though all he wanted to do was puke out of nervousness.

Jhope placed his palm on Taehyung's forehead to check his temperature.

"Everything okay tae tae you seem to be acting so odd ?? " Jhope said while suspiciously staring at Taehyung.

"I'm totally fine hobi" Taehyung said while giving his trademark boxy smile.

Jhope was even more certain that something is not right with Vantae as the last he saw Vantae smilling and calling him by his nickname was years ago.

However, before he could ask anymore questions, his attention was directed to the middle of the cafeteria where Nina and a tall male was talking.

"Hey tae tae, look over there, she's the one i was talking about, Nina and i think the guy talking to her is our other new classmate"

Taehyung looked to the direction where Jhope was pointing and felt his face paling.

Because over there, Jeongguk and Nina were talking.
