Thump,thump thump. It felt like your head was being smashed by a hammer. It was a Friday morning: 7:30.
You groaned as you got out of bed, reaching for your phone. Shoot. You had school today and your headache was already killing you.
Slowly you got ready,taking some medicine to ease the pain.
Before you got out of the house you played music in your headphones,gently bopping your head to the music.Cancelling the pain from your headache. You took a seat on the bus and stared at the window. What a gloomy day..
"Hi."
"Hmm?"
It was C/n. He sat next to you and instantly you felt butterflies in your stomach.
"Oh hi,C/n." You replied shortly,struggling to make eye contact. The headache slowly disintegrating. The rest of the journey was awkward until some of his friends came on the bus and sat behind you guys. You felt a pair of eyes on you.
Once class began you felt the headache return. But it just came back harder.
First lesson: English.
"Shoot." You cursed under your breath.
"What's wrong." Your classmate asked.
"Nothing." You replied dryly.
You tried to focus but your vision was too blurry. As the day grew on your condition just got worse. When break arrived, you found a bench to sit on and you slumped forward.
"You don't look too well."
...
"Huh?"
"Should I take you to the nurses office? You don't seem too well today,are you okay?"
...
"I'll be fine." You said not realising who that person was..
They touched your shoulder,making you look up.
"Com'on let's just go,okay? I'll take you." He held his arm out for you to hold and you took it.
Many people stared but you didn't care. You and C/n didn't talk a lot but you wished that there was a slim chance he liked you. Suddenly you had a feeling you were going to faint and grasped tighter to his arm. "Hey you okay." He asked worried. The rest of it was a blur.
"Sooo,are you her friend,boyfriend.." you heard the nurse say.
Your body facing away from her.
"No mam, but, I really like her. I care about her way to much." He chuckled then quickly went silent.
Your heart was beating rapidly now. He likes me!!! No, really likes me.
You shot up. Thinking it was a dream. But he was there now making eye contact with you.
"Hey." He said with a smile,like no other.
