Barry pov
I woke up In a sweat "it's the same nightmare every time. "I drowsily get up from bed I change into some more respectable clothes of mine since I and Benson are going shopping today. Oh, I haven't said much about him before did I? we met when we were both 14 I was running away from an orphanage it wasn't the best place to stay as you get older.
Benson said he had been homeless for around a year when we ran into each other we immediately clicked it was just luck. Honestly, we weren't as close as we are in the present but we saved up some money and bought a tumbledown cottage... sure it's not the best with all the leaks including the rodents sneaking around at night, but it was the best we could get.
I smelled a familiar scent "Pancakes again?" Reluctantly I trudged downstairs to the kitchen I see Benson sitting down with some pancakes.
I forgot to mention we are bot cat hybrids "what a plot twist right heh"
Benson pov
He had woken up early so he had made pancakes again. Unfourtnetley they only had pancakes right now but it was fine because they saved enough money to get more! maybe more clothes too. his ear twitched when he heard heavy thumping leading downstairs."Morning sleepyhead" He muttered he heard a groan and Barry became visible walking around the corner." Someone tired?" "yep" barry said popping the p. He saw barry tail-flick anxiously "nightmares?" He asked "yeah" barry sighed. He got up and hugged barry, Barry calmed down he always calmed down when someone hugged him it was like a weakness.
BB POV
"that's kinda gay" Brooke and Tiernan say at the same time and bursted into laughter. Margret was glaring at them."Hey!Don't look at us like that "Tiernan yelled. They saw the two in the kitchen whip their head towards the window brooke pulled Tiernan down and hid under the window sill
Margaret was already out of view from the window and gave a disapproving shake of her head
they saw the other two in the kitchen run upstairs "shit?" "do you think they saw us"
they waited around a bit and hid around a corner of the cottage when the front door opened "oh they were just going shopping or something" thought Tiernan aka the dwarf child.
when they were out of view they broke the window and climbed in...
Barry pov
We were at the shop me and Benson split up so we could leave faster
"Excuse me ma"m yours in my way."
said a firm voice filled with irritation
"I'm sorry but I'm not a woman I'm a man"
"nonsense your hair is too long and beautiful to be a man."
"don't say your one of those transgender freaks"
Okay this woman was getting on his nerves
"I am not trans miss but if I was there is nothing wrong with it"
he felt a slap on his face he quickly grabbed the side of his face and shoved the lady back she was now sat on the floor.
"Help this young woman assaulted me " she yelled
Benson pov
He heard a shout from two aisles down from him apparently someone assaulted someone so he ran towards the aisle
to his confusion, he saw Barry who had a red mark on his cheek and a woman on the ground
"what happened ?" He asked
"This bitch slapped me and kept saying i was a woman and then proceeded to be transphobic."
"Can the people in aisle 4 come to the front"
Said an announcement from a speaker it was more of an order than a reqeust
