I grabbed my apron and headed into the kitchen where I was being shown where everything was.
"Okay so here's the stoves and ovens. The kettles are over there is the washing up station. Fridges are over there along with freezers. And that's it do you have any questions?" The women asked me.
This place was super clean and was very well looked after. I would expect it to have some dirt but it didn't. The walls looked newly done and so did the floors. The counter space looked well polished and the stoves had no spillage on.
"Uh no. No I have no questions." The women nodded.
"Okay, if you do have any questions come to me. What you need to do is; You will be given an order, by getting an order. Someone will shout your number of your work space, also you will get a slip of paper with the order on. After that you will need to get the ingredients and start making it. Once you are done you press the bell over there on your counter space and someone will come pick it up. Everyone had there own workspace." I nodded. "Okay that's it, let's get to work." She said clapping her hands.
"Okay." I nodded to her. I walked over to the sink washed my hands and went to my coking station. Once I got there it became full on.
"ORDER FOR WORK SPACE NUMBER 12. ORDER 69. TWO FISH AND CHIPS ONE WITH BEANS ONE WITH OUT. AND ONE DOUBLE STACK BURGER." Once I heard the order I got to work. I had a piece of paper in front of me as well, so I could look back on the order.
I started cooking the burger meat, the bacon, and the two pieces of fish. I started to fry the chips and get the buns out. I cooked the beans after two minutes of the meat and fish cooking.
Once the meat and fish was done I loaded into a plate and added the beans and chips to it. Then I assembled the burger; lettuce, tomatoes, no onions, meat patty, bacon and mayonnaise. I added all to a bun and loaded onto the plate and then added chips.
"ORDER 69 FINISHED AT COUNTER SPACE NUMBER 12!" I shouted, soon a waitress came over picked up the food and left. I soon got another order and started making that one.
My day stayed the same on endless repeat, working in the diner was fun. I got to cook and make friends, I already made friends with this one girl called Tammy. Everyone called her Tilly or Tam though.

5:00. My shift had finished. I pressed my clock showing I was off duty. I walked over to the sink washed my hands and then took off my apron hanging it in my locker. I grabbed my bag from the locker and shut it behind me. I made sure it was locked and dropped the key in my bag. I slid my name across to, 'off duty', and walked out the diner to find Sam who was going to pick my up.
I was leaning against the wall of the diner waiting for Sam to pick me up. But when it hit 5:30, rain started to fall and there was no sight of Sam. I sighed to myself. I knew it was too good to be true.
I was walking back home in the freezing rain with just a jumper and skin tight jeans that where already stuck to my legs. It was obvious I was cold, I kept shivering as I walked.
I can't believe Sam stood me up, well I mean he didn't really. Did he? I mean he said he would pick me up but it wasn't a date. So did he stand me up? Well he left me, that's the obvious part.
I kept trudging home soaking wet. My clothes were wet and my body was shivering. My shoes made squeaking noises when I stepped in them.
Once I finally got home I grabbed my key to my house and opened the door. I was met with warm air and I quickly closed the door locking it behind me. I sat down on the door mat inside and breathed slowly.
I can't believe he actually left me.

Sam's PovI was on a shift with Enbry and Paul. We where patrolling the borders of La Push just incase the red headed leech came back. Which she more likely will.
"So how does it feel to find your imprint?" Paul asked through the packs mind link.
"It feels good Paul! Why you jealous that I have and you haven't!" I said teasing him.
"No. I don't care, I'm happy you found your imprint. Especially one that can cook you know. Know more wasting money!" He said with cheer in his voice.
"Yeah I guess." I sighed.
"What's wrong with Mr. Big Leader now huh?" He asked.
"I'm just afraid she won't accept that I imprinted on her." I heard Embry and Paul laugh. "What? What's so funny?"
"It's just that you don't think she will accept you even though she knows your a wolf and is a witch herself." Paul asked.
"I mean yeah." I spoke. They burst into laughter again.
"That is the funniest thing in the world I have ever heard." Embry chuckled. "And beside so what if she doesn't accept you, it's not like she's staying forever anyway. I mean she's leaving after the battle, correct?" Embry asked.
"Yeah but didn't Jake said she had a house?" I asked hoping it wasn't true.
"She could just be living in it for the time being." Paul shrugged. "So if she doesn't accept it, don't sweat it she won't be around forever." Paul spoke.
They where right. She wasn't going to be around forever and she won't accept me. That's it! I'm only going to talk to her when she is around for the fight. Then we can go our separate ways. It made my heart sink a little but it was the truth.
Thallo wasn't going to be around forever.
