"I'm on the way to my friends, to my friends, to my friends! I'm on the way to my friends because my mommy said I could!" She said in a "Mary Had a Little Lamb" tune. "Ooh! Mommy! Look! I can see our shadows! I think shadows are cool and weird looking!"

"John, something is going on in the house." The moms voice sounded serious. All Annabelle could hear was murmurs from the phone. She looked outside, looking at the spring flowers, knowing it will be summer soon. All she could think about was what was going on. Nothing could get her mind off it. She tried to think about something else, but it seemed impossible for her.

"Honey, would you want to watch a movie on my phone?" Now, the mother seemed calm. So many questions flooded into Anna's mind. What was going on? Why is my mom acting so weird? But she didn't ask.

"Sure!" She went to the movie section on her moms phone. Anna looks outside, waiting for "The Little Mermaid" to load. She looked at the shadows from outside.

It was hard for her to focus on the shadows, because after all, she was in her mom's car. Then, something changed. She didn't know what, but it seemed that something changed. She screams. "MOMMY! I SAW SOMETHING!" Then Annabelle covered her face with her shirt.

"Calm down. It's probably your imagination. You are VERY creative!" Her mother said cheerfully.

"You and dad always say that I'm just pretending. Which, most of the time, IS true... But this time I'm not! Mommy! Please tell me what's going on." Anna pleaded. "Why don't you watch what ever movie you were gonna watch." She said. "I wouldn't want you to know until your older.." She murmured to herself.

"Mommy! Can I ring the doorbell?!" Annabelle exclaimed excitedly.

"Sure." So, she went ahead to ring the doorbell. Crystal's mom opened the door.

"Hello Mary!" Crystal peeked through the door, shy as ever. Crystal was the same age as Annabelle, 7 years old.

"Hiya Crystal!" Crystal smiled, and waved. "Hey Anna! Wanna come in?! I have some puzzles we could do!" Anna's eyes grew wide.

"You have puzzles? I finished all of mine. Now they're to easy for me." Anna walked into the house following her friend Crystal.

Mary made sure that her daughter, Annabelle, was gone so she wouldn't hear. "She's starting to see and hear the voices and shadows Ava." Mary's looked worried.
"Oh no... Did you tell her?" Ava asked.

"No," said Mary. "She CANT know until she's old enough..."
