Sun is shining through the blinds, I'm awoken by my mother who is looking in from my doorway. She's sniffling and making inaudible noises. I shuffle around the bed while trying to open my eyes.

"Mom, it's only a few hours away, I'll be fine." She gasps in surprise. I look at the time and see that its 9 in the morning. "I'm sorry for waking you up sweetie, I'm just going to miss you." I stand up from my bed and stretch before walking up to my mom and embracing her in a hug. We stay like that for a few minutes before my dad reminds me that I should get going soon. "I'm sorry that we wont be able to help you, we weren't able to take off from work." I pick out my outfit and grab a towel from the closet. "It's okay mom, I'll be fine. I'll meet you guys downstairs i'm gonna go shower."

"That should be the last box" my dad says while loading the last box into my trunk. He turns around with glossy eyes, biting the inside of his cheek. "I love you Lena, you better visit and call me everyday"

I laugh trying not to look him in the eyes. "I love you too dad, ill try to call and visit as much as possible"

I look at my phone and curse at the time. They should be here. And with that we are met with a loud engine speeding down our block.

Two figures bolt out of the car racing to me. "El, I'm so sorry there was so much traffic. I was so scared that you left". My older brother, Elias says. Meanwhile, my younger sister, Elira makes inaudible noises into my shoulder. I feel her hot breath and tears soak my shirt. I look up into the sky trying to bite back tears. "Elly, I swear I'll call you everyday please don't cry."

"I- know but who's gonna do my art projects for me" As she lets out a low sob into my shoulder.

I laugh, throwing my head back in amusement. " I'll still do them dumbass, I'll just have to drive back to give them to you. You get one every month, it will be fine"

I look at the time and pull back from my siblings. "I gotta go guys, group hug"

They all pull me into a tight hug, slowly suffocating me. I  tap out on someones shoulder and take in a deep breath when I'm let out of the hug.

"I love you guys, I should get going. I'll call you when I get there". I start walking away not meeting anyones eye.

I pull open my car door and start the car. "I don't fuck with you" by Big Sean starts playing as I drive out of my driveway. I wave goodbye and make my way out of town.

"I dont fuck with youu, you lil stupid ass bitch.."

I pull into the parking lot of my university. I pull out the directory trying to find my dorm building. I see the big sign indicating that "Residence Hall C" is near the parking lot. I find the closest spot to the building and park the car.

I take a second the breathe and to remind myself that everything will be okay.

I step out of my car and pop open the truck. I grab one of the boxes and I close my trunk with my elbow. I step back getting ready to turn around when I'm met with a..wall? The "wall" puts its hands on my waist balancing me so I don't fall.

"Watch it, I just cleaned these" nodding to his shoes. I shoot back a glare and let out a scoff.

"Watch out?? Are you out of your fucking mind? You watch out asshole". I say rolling my eyes at the idiot in front of me.
