She's eleven years old. Her long blonde hair is in a braid with flowers tucked into the knots. She grins at me.
She quickly climbs to the top of the slide. I hold my arms open for her to crash into. My outstretched arms are a reminder that I'm always there for her. I'm gonna protect her no matter what.
Her smile shines so bright and I smile back. Her arms are raised above her head. Ecstasy radiates off of her.
Just as she's about to push off and slide down to me she yells with pure joy,
"Here I come, Julie!"
