Detroit, Michigan Circa 2016
The first time Jay White had met Lilith Akuma was when he made the move from New Jersey to Detroit, Michigan to move in with TNA legend Alex Shelley while he was on his American tour for Ring of Honor the brunette man of the tag team known as Motor City machine guns offering to take him under his wing along with his tag partner Chris Sabin.
He had been carrying his things up the steps to Alex's house when he heard a woman yelling in a different language before said woman nearly hit him with the front door as she flung it open without a care storming down the steps past him, still cursing in the language he had no clue of.
He looked wide eyed from her and then over to the door where Shelley was leaned against, the 24 year old didn't know what to say. Opening and closing his mouth a few times trying to find the right words before starting with "who, was that."
Shelley let out a laugh before moving out of the doorway to let the younger wrestler back into the house "that, my friend was Lilith."
"How do you know her? Is she like an acquaintance...a friend..or like your girlfriend?" Jay asked as he held the box as he walked into his new room setting the box on the bed before he felt a swift smack against the back of his head
"Ow!" He yelped rubbing the back of his head as he turned to look at Alex bewildered "why'd ya do that for mate?"
"She's an acquaintance, sometimes comes to Ring of Honor shows and does 3 way tag matches with me and Chris when we have to face the kingdom. She's mostly on Impact though, she's apart of Decay." Shelley said leaning against the dresser. Telling the New Zeland native more about the elusive younger woman. Truly if decay hadn't got to her first they would've taken her under their wing instead of Jay.
Jay nodded he didn't watch much Impact but knew over there they were a lot more destructive and hardcore and crazy with nearly everything they did.
"Rosemary and Crazzy Steve took her in like a daughter kinda like me and Chris are taking you in under our wing giving you tips and stuff like that" Alex said clearing up the confusion.
"What language was she yelling in?" Jay asked taking a seat on the bed wanting to know more about the fiery smokey haired girl.
"Greek, she's from Kastoria Greece. But when she was 6, she was adopted by a Japanese couple so she flutters back and forth from here and Japan she wanted to give the states a try like you I suppose." Alex said crossing his arms "They said when she was born, she had fire in her heart and a storm brewing in her soul. She may have the laugh of an Angel but she has the smile of the devil. She's a wicked, wild, wreckless thing. A man eater if you will." Alex rambled on as if it was something straight out of a fairytale. From time to time he even found himself enthralled with the alluring woman when she was around even though he was 10 years older than her.
Jay had never heard of anyone like that before besides Minoru. That man could put the fear of god in you when you wrestled him. "Minoru helped train her, as did Meiko Satomura, Asuka, and Zack Sabre JR. You know him don't you, he frequents Japan. I've only heard rumors but apparently she's the princess of Suzuki-Gun" Shelly pointed out which caused Jay nod he did know Zack but he suddenly went slightly pale at the mention of her trainers and her holding such a title with Minoru's faction, he could just imagine how lethal she was in the ring.
He heard the front door open again and the same voice call out "Shelley! Chris wants to know what the hell you losers want for dinner." Alex chuckled shaking his head at hearing how brash and unapologetically blunt she was "come out and meet her when your ready, is Chinese good with you?" He asked as he went to leave Jay's new room.
Jay gave him a few quick nods in agreement that he'd come out in a bit and that Chinese was okay with him. He watched the older wrestler leave faintly hearing the two playfully arguing in the other room, before pushing his hair out of his face as he prepared himself to walk out and meet the smokey haired girl after he had unpacked a bit more.
Meanwhile in the Kitchen
Lilith was leaning against the counter looking her nails over "so you're harboring fresh meat?" She teased knowing that he had let the kiwi boy stay with him after meeting him the year prior in Japan, Alex knew he needed a stable place to stay while he was touring America and he was a kind hearted guy she expected nothing less. Alex was a guy who couldn't help himself when he felt that he could help someone else.
"Don't scare this one off Lili. Please he's a good kid he's gonna be a star." Alex sighed before smiling, Lilith always had a tendency to scare the newcomers away afraid to let anyone in. He figured that was Rosemary and Steve's doing seeing as Decay hated outsiders. He and Chris were lucky, well lucky that Rosemary had a crush on his tag team partner so he supposed that was the only thing saving them both, though Lilith still gave him and Chris a hard time from every now and then.
Jay had faintly heard them talking as he neared the kitchen. He silently stood in the doorway as he studied her, she was tall, nearly as tall as him which was surprising. She had multiple tattoos covering what he could see of her arms and legs, even some peaking out of her top from her shoulders. He quietly cleared his throat to catch their attention.
He nearly flinched when her grey eyes snapped towards him as she gave him a slow once over before nodding. "You were right, for once." She said glancing at Alex disappointedly as she sighed. She hated when Alex was right, because he was most of the time even though he could be a righteous dickhead about it sometimes.
He looked towards his mentor as if to ask "what is that supposed to mean??" Alex just smiled shaking his head motioning him into the kitchen. "Lilith, this is Jamie White, Jay for short I guess, but Jay this is Lilith Akuma." He said introducing the two before he felt his phone vibrate, it was Chris letting him know he needed help carrying the food in.
"I'll be back in a sec gotta help Sabin with the food, why don't you two get to know each other for a minute." Alex said patting them both on the shoulder before disappearing out of the kitchen to help his tag partner get the food from the car.
Lilith watched him go with a scowl she didn't want to be stuck here with this new kid. His haircut was already horendous as it is, who has a longhaired mohawk with practically bald on both sides of his head?? It made him look utterly rediculous.
Jay was hesitant he could already tell that she was closed off. She didn't say a word but continued to stare holes into him as she unknowingly scowled, he did not want to know what she was thinking at the moment knowingly it was probably about him and not anything good.
Chris and Alex on the other hand had been standing in the livingrooom, the food spread out on the coffee table already as they watched the two dead silent younger wrestlers in the kitchen.
"The both of them are going to turn the wrestling world upside down I just know it." Chris said looking from Alex to the kids. "I just don't know if that's going to be in a good way or a bad way." He said quietly. He knew that deep down the both of them were explosive.
Lilith crossed her arms as she looked at him still not saying a word.
Jay shyly rubbed the back of his neck not wanting to say anything either.
But they knew.
They didn't speak, but a beautiful, sweet evil grew between them and it would be Jays downfall.
