One day...

Chapter One: Panic

I swung my bag over my shoulder. 5:33Pm I read. Only 3 minutes late.
"You're late!" Niki screamed.
"Shut the fuck up, I'm coming!" I yell back before
Diving into the passenger seat of the car.
"Wassup" I say calmly even though I'm panting from sprinting outside.
"Drives about an hour, I would recommend listening to a playlist." Niki said, in a happy tone.
I put my airpods in and turned on One Day by Lovejoy. It reminded me that in an hour I'll be watching Lovejoy live. I'll see Wilbur Soot live!
The perfect weather and the most beautiful red moon sunset was predicted for tonight. I daydreamed in my head, watching Lovejoy with a beautiful sunset in the background. I can't wait.

1 hour later:

"Alright, Y/n we're here!" Niki yelled into my ear. I ripped my airpods out and saw the huge stage.
"How'd you get this good of parking?" I asked,
"Don't worry about it." She says and looks at a car being towed. She smiles back at me.
We walk through security. I hand them my ticket and see the giant stage once more. A huge sign with "Lovejoy" written on it hung above the stage. We were early enough to get a middle row seat. We sat down together..
"Ugh, thank god we get to sit, my legs hurt" She says
"Same, i'm so fucking excited!" I told her.
"We get to see Lovejoy live! AHHHHHH" Niki responds.
"You think Wilbur will see us if I scream loud enough?"
"Wait, that's a good idea!"
We look at each other.
"We have a plan" We say together.
After chatting a little more about the concert we decided to find Dream and George(Who were also at the concert).
We found them after a little looking around.
"Sup bitches" Dream said.
"Who are you callin a bitch?" I say jokingly putting my fists up.
We laugh a little.
"Where do y'all sit?" George asks.
"Over there" Niki points.

Suddenly, all the lights turn off.
A voice goes over the speaker:
"Sorry folks, we're having some trouble with lights. They'll be back soon. Sit tight!"
I try to calm myself down. I grab for Niki's arm and realize she isn't there.
"Niki!? Dream!? George?!" I scream.
Where are they? My eyes start to  water. I continue to scream their names. Losing hope I back into a random chair. I am completely crying now.
Where could they be? Did they leave me?
I couldn't see anything. I began to panic. My breathing is heavy, my heart begins to pound faster and faster. I run around trying to find them but no one calls back. My mind is racing.
Did they leave me? Where are they?
I begin to run. Suddenly I run into something or someone. I could barely see the figure. Tall boy.
"I'm so sorry! I should have watched where I was going." I apologize.
"You're fine," He said happily, "Are you ok?"
I think he heard the crack in my voice.
"Yeah, I just.. Can't find my friends. After the lights turned off I couldn't find them." I answer
"I think I can help you. I have a flashlight! What's your name?" His voice calmed me.
"Uh..Y/n, thank you" I say. My breathing starts to slow.
"I'm Tommy," He says.
He turns on his flashlight and we walk. I don't know where we are but I feel a weird sort of comfort standing next to him. Some sort of security.
"Do you live around here" He asks
"About an hour away," I responded.
"Me too! In Cheesburg?"
"Yep!"
With the flashlight I can kind of see his face. A tall blonde boy with pretty blue ocean eyes. Something about him...
"Do you requinize anything" He asks
"No, not yet" I tell him.
"You look familiar, do you stream?"
"Yeah actually I do, wait, are you Tommyinnit?"
"Maybe"
"I've always wanted to meet you!"
I have to look up to even see him. I nearly turn the wrong way when he grabs my hand. Feeling myself blushing, I attempt to hide my face.
"Wait, I know this place" I say, "That's my chair!"
"They should be somewhere around here," He says, happier than before. Still holding hands, I lead him to where they might be. To our disappointment, they're not there. We continue to walk. He is kind of cute.

You can't fall in love with someone you just met Y/n! My mind screams at me.

I start to panic once again. My breathing becomes rapid and my heart begins to pound. He can tell. He sits me down.
"It's going to be alright." Tommy says and gives me a hug.
That was all I needed. The comfort of a hug from a stranger. He let go and pulled something out of his pocket. 2 bracelets. One saying "Together" and the other "Forever".
"I have always kept these in my pocket waiting for someone to give one too. I feel comfortable around you. I know we're just strangers but I feel a connection. Will you take one?" He says with a slight smile.
"Of course" I took one.
We put them on our wrists and put them next to each other.
I knew I was blushing, but I didn't care. There was no reason to.

Tommy stood up and took my hand.
"Shall we keep looking?" He asked.
"Let's go" I say.
We keep on walking and looking. We stop and wait for the other group of people in front of us. I take this chance to look into his ocean eyes.
"You have pretty eyes" I say.
"Thank you, yours are like the forest"
"I've always liked nature."
Our conversation is interrupted.
"Y/N!" Niki screams. I ran and jumped, hugging her so tight. "Where were you?" she asked.
"Well I couldn't find you but I met someone who helped me." I say.
"My name is Tommy, wait Niki, I know you!" Tommy says
"I haven't seen you since like 3rd grade" She waves, "Oh y/n we used to be friends but in 4th grade we were put in different schools."
"That's so cool!" I say.
Dream and George come over.
"My name is Tommy, and you?" Tommy introduces himself again.
"I'm Dream and this is George." He said actually being a decent human for once.
We all started talking about stories and the concert.

But then, the lights turned back on. The welcoming music started to.
"Come on, Tommy, you can sit with us!" I say. He follows us to our seats. We sit down and I'm next to Tommy and Niki. The concert starts. My neck had been hurting all day. I decided to make a move and put my head on his shoulder...
