Adopted?... or nah?

Emma's POV

They are cute, especially the guy with the blonde hair and the beanie. "Hey Lex. What do you think?" I whispered while I watched her scan them up and down. "Not too bad." she said satisfied. "Not too bad at all." I stated and we both giggled. "Right over there." Mrs. Gigi said while gesturing to us. "Be cool, be cool, be cool." I whispered to myself as Lexi grabbed my hand. "Hey guys." one of the boys said. This guy looked like he was the oldest. He had brown hair and brown eyes. "Hi." Lexi said smiling. I just kept on staring at them. Some of them looked oddly familiar it was starting to creep me out. "So what's your names? I'm Cameron." the guy said. "I'm Lexi and this is Emma. We are both 16." Lexi said looking at me. I was still staring at them not knowing what to say. "Lexi can I please speak to you over there?" I asked while pointing to the bathroom with a smile on my face. "Sure. We will be right back." she said to the boys. We walked over and into the bathroom. Lexi shut the door and looked at me. "Okay this is going to sound so weird but I swear I have seen them before. I don't know where but I have." I spat out. "Oh Emma your just over-" "No I am not fricken over reacting. I am dead serious." I said. She was looking at me straight in the eyes now. I could tell that she believed me. "So is that why you were staring at them the whole time?" she asked me. "Yes... and their kind of cute but that's not the point." I said and we both let out a giggle. "Okay true. I will try to help you figure out where you had seen them but I'm not saying I will have any luck." she said with a grin on her face. "Thanks Lex. I love you girly." I said and gave her a hug. "I know you do. I love you too." she said. "Let's go before they leave and forget about us." I stated. Lexi nodded yes and opened the door. I could see Cameron talking to Mrs. Gigi. "We will be back tomorrow, we just have to go and pick someone up today." he said. "Okay well the adoption hours are from 12:00 to 1:00 tomorrow." Mrs. Gigi said to him as he nodded. His phone started ringing. "Okay bye Mrs. Gigi. Bye girls." he said smiling. He picked up his phone and started walking. "WHAT DO YOU WANT HAYES!?" he yelled into the phone and they all walked out the door. Me and Lexi giggled and walked over to Mrs. Gigi. "Can we please go upstairs and to our room because nobody even wants us plus those guys are coming again tomorrow?" I asked. "Yes but please keep down the noise because last time you guys were so loud that I couldn't hear anyone." she said looking at us. "Okay we will." Lexi said and snickered. We both ran up the stairs and into our room. "So what do you want to do?" I asked. "Do you just want to maybe go outside and wander around until it gets dark?" "Sure." I said. "Okay let's change and get going but don't take long because I know how you are. It could be already dark by the time you are done." she said and smiled. "Okay got it." I said and walked into our closet. I got both of us an outfit and we grabbed our long boards. We walked downstairs and I told Mrs. Gigi we were going to the store. We went anywhere that we could in around 5 hours. We first went to the park and just talked. After that we went to the ice cream place. I didn't get anything but Lexi did. She got a cone with chocolate ice cream but she dropped it on the way out. That was probably the most mad I have seen her in a while, which while weird is really true. Lastly we went to the beach. We didn't go in the water because we didn't want anyone to know we went there. We sat in the sand and talked a lot more. As soon as I knew it my eyes were closed and I was asleep. I woke up and it was almost completely dark outside. Oh shoot! I woke up Lexi and we both started freaking out. We started to run back to the orphanage. The bad part is that it's not very close to the beach. We somehow managed to get there by running the whole time in less than 15 minutes. We snuck in the door and up to our room. We made it just as Mrs. Gigi was calling and saying it was dinner time. We walked down the stairs all out of breath and sat down at our spot. "Did you find what you girls were looking for at the store?" Mrs. Gigi came up to us and asked. "Um yes ma'am, we did." I lied. "Okay." she said and walked away. Tonight the dinner is meatloaf and fruits and vegetables. I only ate the fruit because I hate meatloaf and I hate vegetables. Lexi ate everything and kept telling me to eat but I kept on ignoring her. When everyone was done we got to do anything so me and Lexi went to our room and just sat down. I went into the dresser that we stash food and things that we buy at the store. I made myself a peanut butter sandwich and ate it as Lexi went and took a shower. After she was done I took one and we got ready for bed. It was only 8:00 but we had nothing to do so we just played around with our hair like we usually do. We picked out what we were going to wear the next day and we chose how we were going to do our hair and makeup. We talked and played games until around 10:00. We were dead tired so it didn't take too long until we both fell asleep.
*AHHH*
I woke up to Lexi screaming. "Oh that's fine Lex, just scream. It's not like I was sleeping or anything!" I said. "Whatever we have bigger problems than you sleeping. It's 12:00!" she said. I looked at the clock. Oh my gosh we are going to be late again. I jumped out of bed and put on my outfit as Lexi did the same. We ran into the bathroom and we brushed our hair and teeth. Lexi straightened her hair and then mine. We missed breakfast and it's already 12:45. We both ran down the stairs and stood where we were yesterday. Mrs. Gigi thankfully was talking to someone and didn't notice us. We were both out of breath because we were running around. A few seconds later the guys from yesterday ran threw the door out of breath as well. "I told you we had time!" the one with the bright blue eyes yelled at Cameron. "Okay sorry but this might take a while." Cameron said as they all walked towards us. "Hi again." he said to me and Lexi. "Hey." I said. We talked for a little bit. We told them how me and Lexi met and they said that they thought we were sisters at first. We get that a lot so we are kind of used to it. "So how would you girls feel about moving out of this place?" Cameron asked.

Sorry this is kind of long I guess. I am actually getting kind of excited about this story and I hope it comes out good. I got my phone back again so yeah. I'm thinking about having a certain day that I have to post each week. If you guys want you can comment a day that you want and update. Also I don't know if I should update once or twice a week so let me know what you think please.
