It's silent right now, the only peace I've had all day
This morning, my sister had a CT scan before surgery. Last night an 11 year old girl died. I pray that she won't end up this way. It's weird, a month ago, this would have been the last thing on my mind. The day I left, she was just a happy, healthy kid.
Andres is back for a visit, so we're having lots of fun. He did my makeup, then I did his. We had lots of fun.
Uh, the first lady came by the hospital today...I love her so much...my mother...not really. Now listen, I don't give a flying fuck about anybody's political affiliation, but I do give a fuck about respect. So, needless to say, I was more than a little embarrassed when my mother could not even put aside the bullshit for a second, and wore the loudest Trump 2024 t-shirt she fucking could.

In all fairness, Dr. Biden is actually trying to help kids with cancer by introducing Moonshot, a program that aims to cut childhood cancer deaths in half. She is not like other celebrities that come for photo ops and get a picture with some cute bald kids and then get to go home and forget about the nightmare that is childhood cancer.
