love is a thing, everybody, experiences in life. The feeling of caring about someone and someone caring about you. Sadly Ryo had never experienced these feelings, she was always hit on by guys in her school but she always declined. She thought dating and being in love was a waste of time and energy, plus all the guys in her school were ugly and dumb, but that changed one day.

it was a normal school day for Ryo she had a few tests but nothing out of the ordinary really, she was minding her business reading her book in the cafeteria when the principal walked in with a tall boy next to him "everybody settle down, let me introduce you to a new student of ours that transferred here, go ahead introduce yourself" the male rolled his eyes " hello, I'm Asuka Suzuki, don't bother talking to me or being nice I don't want any friends" mhm Ryo thought "oh-um continue with your lunch" the principal walked away with an awkward look on his face. Ryo obviously wanted to mind her business and not talk to the guy but something compelled her to walk to him sit across from him at the empty lunch table and just continue what she was doing, Asuka was obviously confused but didn't say anything he just sat there in silence as the pink-haired girl read that's how their lunch ended.

after that day the same thing happened they would sit together at lunch in silence, sometimes they would exchange a few words with other than that people thought they weren't friends or anything like that but it was the opposite. they knew the school would make a big deal about Ryo and Asuka being friends so they always hung out after school and talked over the phone even though they didn't know they were falling in love.

the day came when Asuka asked Ryo out and confessed to her on the date she gladly accepted. after that they became the iconic couple in the school never showing affection in public but in private they were full of romance lust and passion. the day came of the school dance Asuka obviously asked Ryo to the dance as Ryo was getting ready in her room almost ready to go her father knocked and came into her room "Ryo sweetie this is for you" Ryo took the envelope out of her father's hands. when she was done reading the letter she broke down crying in grief and sadness her father helped her as she wept" "Hunny what was in on the letter?"

the letter:

dear Ryo

I'm writing this while I'm on the train for America, i won't be able to take you to the dance tonight or anywhere ever my parents are forcing me to a boarding school in America, my grades have been horrible and they decided to discipline me in the stupid boarding school. i protests as much as i could but they told me I'm the family's disappointment and if I didn't go to the boarding school they would kill me to gain my family's respect back. please my love forgive me, the only thing i wish from you is the promise that one day we will find each other and spend the rest of our lives together again forgive me for telling you this in this stupid letter and not in person.

"let us burn this shall we," her dad said hoping it would help her Ryo wept as the letter was turning into soft ashes after that she never believed in love and became a cold-hearted monster, even though she might look like if she had never forgot about Asuka.
