Look at what you've done
A mission to better yourself simultaneously lead to destruction of all peace
When drugs were involved and you were shaking hands with the devil no one called
Always comments from the outside thinking that guy living so right
Never seeing from the right perspective or having the courage to show up
Digging yourself out of hell is a lot if work
You'd think you'd get an award
Instead everyone around you is now bored
Looking for your next trip planning to see you off
Crazy how the ones you love the most wait on your downfall
Not only wait but pray on it
Sharing your life is an amazing thing with the right people
They'll celebrate you and lift you up
The wrong people on the other hand will tear you down
God forbid you think they're on your side
That's the perfect time for them to still your hide
Danger lurks at every corner especially with the ones you love
Constantly seeing what you did and never taking a step back to view alternate perspectives
Who knows what's the right thing when family feels you abandoned them
When in reality you've always been abandoned
Playing video games by yourself in the dark praying for somebody to save you
When you wake you see your hero in the mirror
Just weren't able to comprehend it at the time being so young
Next thing you know you out looking for a gun
All grown now making your own poor decisions
Sleeping with your gun got you constantly contemplating federal crimes
When it's your time they won't even show for a trial
Saying they love you this and that, to only give you a pat on the back when you tell them you down to your last sack
Jumping into the streets selling crack
Helping the fiends get they fix never getting back to that animal you once were
Blowing your mind, using drugs and getting high
Got you contemplating suicide
Thinking it's do or die
Crying out for help makes you dead inside
So you might as well point the nine
Not at the baby hidden beneath the flesh
But the truer side shown on the outside
The one that carries the pain inside already died
Stuffing stress in your back pack searching through the woods for relief
In reality that relief lives inside the mirror that you pass by everyday
Not looking twice or loving what you see
Killing your inner self esteem
Thinking you need other people giving them steam
When they got the wrecking ball knocking down your walls
Call it Jericho how easy they fall ..
