Future Alex's POV: My name is Alex James Barnes-Romanoff, yeah I know what you're thinking, 'Why does this guy have the same name as Black Widow and the Winter Soldier, Natasha Romanoff and James Buchanan 'Bucky' Barnes?' To answer that question, I am their son. I know, crazy right. But I am getting off track here. This is the story of how I became one of the most famous heroes of my world. The story you are about to hear is not for the faint of heart.

Present day Alex's POV, Age 16: I woke up like every other day and started my workout routine. 20 sit ups, followed by 30 pushups, and followed by a two mile job around the block. After my workout I went into the kitchen and saw a note from my mom. I picked it up and read it.
Dear Alexi, I had to go into work early today. Something has my boss worried, but I'm sure it's nothing. I'll be home late so make sure to get everything done by the time I get home. Also, I know that it's been hard not having a father in your life. Just try and make the most of today and every day that follows. Love, Mom.
I smiled and looked up to see a picture of me, mom, and dad when I was a baby. It was taken the day after I was born. But the next day, dad was killed. I barely know anything about him other than what mom has told me. I sighed and got ready for school and I was a little excited since we were going on a science field trip to the Genetics Lab here in New York today.
I took a quick shower, grabbed my bag, and went down to the garage to find my bike there. Unlike most kids my age, mom managed to pull some favors and got me a motorcycle license. It was black and silver with a custom dome that acted as a protective shield against rain, wind, bugs, even debris if necessary. I grabbed my helmet and my keys and got on my bike. Once I revved the engine, I closed the garage doors and headed to school.
