Milo's POV

I quickly run up the the mess in front of my small clinic. There was a huge wolf, unconscious, and bloody laying there. He had gorgeous red fur. I drop my bags of groceries and run my fingers through his fur, checking for any broken ribs or limbs. I sigh in relief when I don't feel any broken bones. I unlock the clinic door and bring my groceries in, setting them on the counter. I walk back to the wolf. He was awake now. He was growling and trying to back off. He had emerald green eyes.

I wrestle him into the clinic, getting nips and scratches. "I'm just trying to help you,d stubborn wolf!" I get a growl and a bark. He yelps loudly when I dig my fingers into a cut. I quickly let him go. "This wouldn't happen if you would just work with me!" He growls at me. I put my hands on my hips. "I'm sorry, your alpha aura doesn't work on me. I'm going to get some stuff to help. I'll sedate you if you move from this spot." his ears droop a little, barely, before he snarls at me. I roll my eyes. "Someone's impatient." I hear another snarl.

I finish wrapping him up, finishing it off by tying some bandages around his head. I wipe the sweat off my forehead, sighing. "Done. That was some fight you got into. You're lucky you didn't get bleed out or break anything!" He huffs and lays his head on his legs. I smile down at him. "I'll go get you something to eat and I'll set up a place for you to sleep too. It'd be easier if you shifted back but you're too injured right now..." I mutter as I walk into the kitchen.

I walk out with a bowl of heated up leftovers. It was a bowl of pork soup. I set it down in front of the wolf and continue to crouch in front of him. "Eat up!" I smile at him. The wolf lifts his head, then nudges my arm. I look down and see my wrist bleeding. "Oh I forgot!" I rub his head. "I'll be ok." I give him a reassuring smile. He licks my wrist. I giggle. "First you bite me and now you lick me. You're a strange one. Can't say I blame you though." I rub his head again before standing up to clean and cover my wounds.

I look in the mirror and sigh, running my fingers over the large black circle over my eye. People called me doctor panda, even if I'm a cat. The blue triangle ears on the top of my head twitch. The tail I had was wrapped around my leg, with a white tip at the end. I shake my head. "This isn't the time to be self-conscious." I mutter to myself. I leave the bathroom. The red wolf lifts his head when I come into view. He tilts his head. I smile at him. "I'm going to make myself something to eat. Let me know if you need anything." The wolf huffs and lays his head down.

After I ate, I took a shower and started getting ready for bed. The wolf was asleep, curled around himself in the corner on top of a bundle of blankets. I sigh in relief. I hear a knock at the door. "Coming!" I call out then answer the door. "Tirol! What's going on?" The pink haired girl smiles at me. "I heard there was a dangerous wolf here. I wanted to make sure you're ok" I smile back at her. "Everything is fine! He was a hassle but I only got a few nips and scratches." She giggles at me. "Your tail is showing." She points out.

I shrug. "It's uncomfortable to have it contained all day. Anyways how's the trading going these days?" She beams at me. "Thanks to you business is booming! I really owe you one Milo." I laugh and rub the back of my head. "It was nothing, really." I hear a slight bark from further inside. Tirol snorts. "Doesn't sound scary to me." Then the next thing we know, the red wolf is curled around my side, growling at Tirol. He was tall, he reached my hips standing fully up.

Tirol shivers in fear. "I don't think you realize who you helped, Milo" I put a hand on the wolf's head. "Oh hush. She's not here to hurt you or me." The wolf stops growling. Tirol crosses her arms and sighs. "That's a wanted criminal, Milo. That's man-eater Akaboshi." She points to the wolf, who snarls at her last comment. I shrug. "So? I can't leave anyone injured He was unconscious on my doorstep." She sighs. "You are really something else Milo. What would Pawoo say?" I smile. "She would probably try to turn him in. But I wouldn't let her." I rub the wolf's head again.
