A winter wonderland(Candice x male reader)

The trip to the ruins

(Now on Tuesday)
The class were doing a regular class. It was a lesson on the history of Sinnoh and naturally Y/n was getting all the questions right. It was nearing the end of the day when Candice had a smile on her face.
Candice:Ok class I have a fun trip planned for tomorrow. Tomorrow we will be heading to Solaceon town till visit the Solaceon ruins.
The class were excited for tomorrow as their teacher let then go early to go and pack for their trip. Y/n was at his house choosing who he wanted to take with him. When he mentioned Solaceon ruins on of his pokemon seemed adamant on going with him.
Y/n:So  Ban you want to go with me to the ruins?
The fox pokemon say their names in an agreeing manner as Y/n smiles.
Y/n:Alright you t
will go with me to the ruins while the rest of you stay here.
His pokemon agreed as he packed the rest of his things.

Next day
The class were now travelling by bus towards Solaceon town. They were many groups chatting amongst themselves apart from two. Y/n and Candice. Y/n wasn't talking to anyone due to him not knowing how to socialize with adults or anyone outside of his age. Candice on the other hand wasn't speaking to anyone because she still had the encounter with the pokemon Y/n called Ban fresh in her mind. Cynthia had told her it was a Hisuian Zoroark and although she knew regional forms could act different, that pokemon looked like he had the intention of killing and she could she it in those yellow eyes. She can taken out of her trance when the bus driver stated that they arrived at Solaceon ruins.
Candice:Ok class we will split off into groups of two and expression the ruins. Meet up back here in 1 hour. Each pair will have a compass and digging gear so in case you find something you want to take back.
The class begin to split into pairs until the only student left was Y/n. Candice felt a sense of deja vu as she also blushed.
Candice:Well Y/n looks like we will have pair up for this.
Y/n:Hehe. I guess so.
They all enter as each pair go through different chambers. Y/n and Candice go through the biggest one in the center. They walk down the hallway with different ancient tiles on the floor and around the walls. They keep looking around for something but they can't find anything. Until they come across and ancient looking door. When they open it it reveals a large room that is filled with the same tiles as the rest of the ruins. However at the end is a larger tile that is plain pink.

Y/n:Woah what is that?
Candice:I don't know. Let's go take a closer look.
They walk closer to the tile when a portal manifests in front of them. Two pokemon then come out of the portal. One is a pokemon that looks like a letter but it had an eye in the center. An Unown.

While the other was a large spinning top with heads with each of them having a red eye in the center of them. A claydol.

Y/n:A Claydol and Unown. What are they doing here?
Candice:Maybe they are guarding the tile?
Before the pair could dwell on the situation any longer the Claydol sent ancient power in their direction, launching random tiles from the ground towards them. Y/n noticed this and pushed Candice out of the way. They both fell in the ground and after a few seconds they blushed when they realized the position Y/n was on top of Candice with his hand on her chest and Y/n jumped off him.
Y/n:Sorry about that.
Candice:Don't worry about it. You didn't mean it.
Candice reached out for her pokeball but when she pulled it our the Unown's eyes glowed red as the pokeball was forces shut.
Candice:The Unown closed my pokeball!
Y/n:Then it's up to me. Go Ban!
He sent out his fox and the second the pokemon was sent out Candice felt the coldness from their first encounter despite the fact Ban didn't even use his attack.
Y/n:Let's get rid of the Unown. Use flamethrower!
Ban sent out a blast of fire towards the letter but before it could hit the Unown Claydol used an earth power as the Geyser of ground energy spewed from one of the holes formed from the previous ancient power.
Y/n:Alright this time use slash on the Claydol.
Ban's claws glowed white before they elongated and he darted forwards to slash at the ground type pokemon but Unown sent a wave of black glowing orbs as the hidden power sent Ban away.
Y/n:Nasty plot!
Ban then glowed black as his special attack and special defense rose. Claydol then used an earth power from beneath Ban to send him upwards as another hidden power sent him back down.
Candice:Those two are strong together. How will Y/n win?
Y/n:Now flamethrower on the entire battlefield!
Ban sent a burst of fire that engulfed the battlefield which not only blurred Candice's vision but also Claydol's and Unown.
Y/n:Use slash!
Ban darted forwards, weaving in between the flames and them slashed at Unown, sending it into a nearby flame. The group already knew that Unown was unconscious was Claydol sent an ancient with tiles that were covered in fire but sent to random places of the battlefield as he couldn't see where Ban was.
Y/n:Now bitter malice!
Candice:What?!
Candice once again felt the chilling resent ban presented to her the last time they met but this time she knew it wasn't targetted to her. Ban then sent a black and blue wave towards Claydol. The attacks connects with Claydol, freezing the entire bottom half of the pokemon. The Unown finally wakes up and seeing the situation they were in it opened a large portal to take Claydol and itself back to where they came from. The flames from the flamethrower were taken out when Ban used bitter malice. Candice walled up to him with a bright smile.
Candice:Wow, you were amazing Y/n.
Y/n:Thanks. Now let's get this tile.
The pair walk up to the tile and take it off the wall will the all their might. It is insanely heavy but the duo were just about able to carry it.
Y/n:Alright let's take this thing bac-
Before he could finish his sentence the ceiling of the room they were in began to disintegrate into nothing as a golden portal formed. The portal then showed the image of a large majestic yet threatening pokemon. Arceus.

Arceus:Children, may I please have my mind plate back?
The duo were speechless as they simply nodded as they let go of the tile which made its way towards the legendary pokemon. The portal then closed as Candice and Y/n were dumbfounded. This would be a day they would never forget.
