The Crain family was haunted by ghosts. They followed them and ate away at their souls, depicting their futures and driving wedges between the remaining members. The world knew of the "Crazy Crain Family" from the headlines and rumours that surrounded them since the incident.
Nobody knew the truth behind what happened that night, not even the ones there. They only had what they could conjure in their minds.
That was until they were brought to a theatre along with some missing family members to relive the horrors of Hill House.
