((First chapter for this book I'm so happy!!! Anyway let's continue and start this story! BTW THE ART ISN'T MINE IT BELONGS TO THE ORIGINAL ARTIST!))You woken up from your slumber as you sat up on your pillow. Your (h/c) hair in a bed head mess as you yawned and looked around. You heard soft snoring from Billie as she was under you on the other bed (yes you two share a bunk bed). Billie has always been your best friend ever since you two were little ones. Oscar was laying on her head as his little fox tail tickled her nose. You giggled and grabbed the little fox away from Billie as she was trying to rest.
You put Oscar on the floor as he scurried off out of the room. You smiled and hummed as you went out of the room to not disturb the little goat. You went to the bathroom to get ready as you grabbed your (f/c) brush and started to brush your hair. You continued to hum as you thought about something.
You never got to know your family ever since you were little, you could only remember the color of your mother's hair.
You and Billie were taken care of by Aristotle. He was the only parent/guardian figure you two had ever since something happened to Billie's father. You were human and not a creature like Billie or Aristotle. It made you sad but you knew that those two were the closest thing you had to a family, and you were proud to have them such as one. After brushing your hair you smiled softly before going back to your room Billie waking up as well rubbing the sleet from her eyes. As you went in your drawers to choose an outfit. You picked out a (f/c) sweater and a knee length (s/f/c) skirt that was decorated with soft smooth frills. You hummed as you went into a small closet to change. When you were don't you looked at yourself in the mirror a smile on your face.
"Wow (y/n), I knew those clothes would look nice on you." Billie said with a soft smile, her fur a bit messy like a puffed up pillow. You smiled and gave Billie a hug. She giggled and hugged back yawning for one last time before grabbing her brush from the dresser she had. She gave you the brush as you brushed her fur she smiled feeling like a petted cat that was having good pets.
You smiled and hummed watching her soft fur be tamed by the brush you were using. When the two of you were done you heard Aristotle call for you two. "(y/n)! Billie! Breakfast is ready!" You both looked at each other and smiled leaving the room to see Aristotle in the kitchen. He was wearing a apron that said "hug the chef". You smiled and sat in a chair and so did Billie.
Aristotle hummed giving out two plates of pancakes. You looked at the food in a ravenous feeling as you started to eat your food. "Thanks Aristotle, these are really good!" You said with a smile. He chuckled softly and ate his plate of food. After the three of you were done you all put up your plates of food.
"That was a good breakfast Aristotle." Billie said with a smile. He chuckled and nodded looking at the two of you. "I'm glad you two liked it. Now, I'll be off in the village you two go ahead and adventure. Stay away from those cats. I don't want one of you to get hurt." Aristotle said as you two nodded. "We'll be fine Aristotle, I'll protect (y/n) and (y/n) will protect me." Billie said with a confident smile. Aristotle was hesitant at first but sighed letting you two go and venture off.
Billie held Oscar in her arms as she looked at you and smiled heading out of the doors. You grabbed your (f/c) scarf putting it around your neck as it was a bit chilly.
You ran outside to catch up with Billie as she was running with Oscar into the small village you two lived in. You heard the birds singing from the trees. The streets bustling with people. Billie was looking at the shops seeing the pretty outfits like dresses, suits, and other rich clothing. Only rich folk got to wear such attire you sighed, wondering what it would feel to have such wonders. "You would look so pretty in this one (y/n)." Billie said looking at a beautiful blue dress. You giggled and sighed softly. Oscar began to bark and yelp at something.
You looked and gasped softly holding onto Billie's hand as the two of you seen a snow white wolf. He looked intimidating as he wore a black suit as it looked like the rich clothing on the shops windows. He nodded softly and smirked his eye focused on the two of you before he took his cigar from his mouth knocking off the ashes before heading inside.
Ocsar was growling as you looked at Billie with a concerned look. "We should go somewhere else.. that wolf looks like trouble.." you whispered to her as she nodded the two of you walked away from the shops, and towards the town square where it held markets for a upcoming festival. You looked around and seen flowers of all kinds, shiny gemstones, exotic fruits, playful toys for the children, and beautiful jewelry that were mainly blue rings, necklaces, and bracelets.
Billie was looking at the fruits and you were looking at the flowers. Roses, tulips, orchid blossoms, lilacs, and even sunflowers with small cloth bags full of sunflower seeds. You hummed and smiled looking at them. Billie and Oscar were walking to you with a small bag of fruit. "A nice old goat gave me these fruits. He was nice enough to pay for them." She smiled and looked at the fruits. You smiled softly and giggled. "Well better save them for a snack, don't eat all of them like you did last time we had fruit." You said as Billie blushed, remembering she ate all of the fruit Aristotle had as she had to go back and get some more with her own pay.
You two walked together and stumbled apon a strange building. It looked like a theater as it was still in good works, but not really visited almost like it was semi-abandoned. You looked at it with astonishment and wonder. Like a moth heading towards a lamp you looked and walked towards it. Billie tilted her head, but sighed heading inside with you. The eerie but welcoming feeling shivered your spine. You saw the lights still working as a chandelier hanged from your heads. You heard soft conversations from the doors in front of you as you walked to them in curiosity.
The sights of people sitting in their seats. There wasn't a lot, and there wasn't a few. It was a good average sight of people. You sat down in one of the seats in the back. Billie sat next to you with Oscar in her lap. The two of you looking at each other and back at the stage. The audience applaud as the red curtains opened the two masks no longer revealed as a wooden marionette was seen. His clothes looked poor but fashionable. His hands were raised as a quartet of puppets were risen like magic.
The show has begun.
