Ch 45 [Comforting Satsuki]

Y/N's P.O.V

It was around seven in the evening when i went to Satsuki's room. She wanted to talk to me about something that she didn't want to tell anyone else about, i was pretty conserned about it because she had this look of fear in her eye's that she never really had before after all this is Satsuki we're talking about, she strike's fear into the heart's of even the toughest of people and to see that look in her eye's made me kinda scared.

Y/N:(What happened to her that made her that scared? Hell, she's one of the most fearless people i know and to see that. I have to know what's going on.)

I made my way to her room where i respectfully knocked before entering, if i'm disrespectful i have the feeling i'll be getting that dagger run across my throat.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Satsuki:"Enter."

I opened the door and entered her room to see her just sitting on the bed reading a book and drinking some tea.

Satsuki:"You've arrived, please make yourself at home."

Y/N:"You wanted to speak with me in secret lady Satsuki?"

Satsuki:"Indeed. Now please, take a seat."

She kinda jestered for me to sit next to her which i ended up doing, once i did she wraped her arm's around me and placed her ear against my chest likely listening to my heartbeat. That was conformed when she mentioned something about it.

Satsuki:"You're calm, i can tell from your heartbeat. It is quite soothing."

Y/N:(I don't quite like where this is going. Why is she shaking like that?):"Lady Satsuki, are you alright?"

Satsuki:"Please, refer to me as just Satsuki when we're alone. And....no i'm not."

Her saying that with such a depressed tone gave me the hint that she had more that something to say but had more of a cry for help that she couldn't get out. I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer.

Y/N:"You can tell me anything Satsuki, i'll always be here no matter what it is."

After i conformed that i wouldn't leave her no matter what she said she told me everything that was done to her by her own mother none the less. My blood was boiling, what kind of mother would do something like that to her own daughter? By now i wanted Ragyo's head on a silver platter more than ever.

Y/N:"I'll do anything to make the pain go away. I'll kill her a thousand time's if that's what it take's to make the pain stop. I'll make her suffer for hurting you, she will face retribution."

Satsuki:"I'm not sure if that will make the pain go away. As long as you're here and maybe with a little help from a therapist i'm sure i'll make it through but you're partally right. She has to face retribution for what's she's done to not just me but to Honno city as a whole."

Even though i knew i was mostly wrong in what i said it was how i felt, anyone who does that to a child there own child none the less should suffer the worst fate possible and i think anyone with a right mind would agree with me.

Satsuki:"I-I wouldn't entirely mind if you'd like to spend the night in my room if you don't have anything else planned."

You bet your rear end i took her up on that offer, i wasn't going to leave her alone after hearing what happened to her. The whole night i stood by her and made sure she was at her most comfortable so she wouldn't be scared to sleep that night.
