Joffrey was right now sitting with his family breaking their fast when he finally said what was on his mind since he had caught himself fancying Lilianna instead of her older sister who was to be his betrothed.
"I wish for Lilianna Stark as my betrothed," Joffrey says.
Everyone present at the table flinches when Robert violently put his goblet down.
"What did you say?" Robert asks his eldest 'son' while glaring at him.
Joffrey let in a sharp intake of breath before repeating himself.
"Not!" Robert angrily yelled.
"And why not?!" Joffrey asked just as furious if not more at not getting what he wants.
"You will not treat her the way she deserves! You will marry the eldest Stark girl and that is final!"
"Robert, the eldest hasn't bled, her sister has." Cersei tried to argue on her son's behalf wanting her eldest to be happy.
"I said no!" Robert yelled at the blonde boy.
"How about we let her choose?" Myrcella suggested.
Robert was about to snap at her to be quiet but thought about it for a good minute.
Tommen just looked at them with an awkward expression and stayed silent to not bring any unwanted attention to himself.
Tyrion just watched as he sipped his wine while muttering a witty remark at the situation at hand whilst Jaime stayed silent.
"You will marry Sansa Stark and that is final!" Robert said before going back to his food.
Joffrey's face was red with anger before he stormed out of the room with his mother calling after him.
The blonde prince had no destination in mind at all he just wanted to get away from his drunken father.
The prince now found himself near a lake where he heard an angelic sound.
Joffrey followed the sound of laughter and had found his betrothed's sister playing with what seemed to be a Direwolf.
Joffrey observed the girl in front of him, she was beautiful no denying that and she seemed to make a better Queen than her elder sister who seemed to believe everything in life was all fairytales.
She also had this look in her eyes that held a certain fire that has yet to be unleashed.
Joffrey wanting to move to get a closer look at the girl stepped on a branch which alerted the young girl and her wolf.
Lilianna's head snapped in his direction and her eyes widened in shock.
"Your Grace." Lilianna immediately got up from her spot on the ground and curtsied giving the prince the sight of her slightly visible cleavage.
"Rise," Joffrey ordered while trying to restrain himself from looking at her breasts.
Lilianna rose to her feet and gave the blonde prince her signature smile that would make anyone weak to their knees.
"Walk with me," Joffrey said.
Lilianna could do nothing but comply with the prince's wishes.
As they took a stroll through the lake Joffrey suddenly asked the young Stark a question that piqued her interest.
"What is your sister like?" Joffrey asked the younger girl.
"Which one?"
"The older one. She is to be my wife and future Queen so I'd like to know more about her."
Lyanna felt a pit of jealousy form in her stomach at her older sister.
'Talk about her flaws as a leader and only some of her strengths as a wife.' The voice in her head that she usually ignored before said.
Blinded by jealousy Lilianna did exactly that.
"Sansa would make a good wife as she has one's skill set." Lilianna started.
"And a Queen?"
"Sansa's not one for leadership, she's naïve and doesn't take death very well." Lilianna continued.
Joffrey let out a satisfied hum before asking her another question.
"And would you make a good Queen?" Joffrey asked her.
Lilianna was shocked by the question and was about to answer it when her eyes caught sight of her little brother lying motionless on the ground next to a tower.
"Bran!" Lilianna yelled while running to her brother.
Joffrey ran after the Stark girl wanting to know what was going on when his eyes caught sight of a whisk of golden blonde hair out of the corner of his eye at the tower the young Stark boy fell from.
"Somebody help!" Lilianna yelled out in desperation.
Suddenly out of nowhere Jaime Lannister appeared and offered to help the boy.
Joffrey looked at his 'uncle' suspiciously while Lilianna was just happy that someone had come and agreed too worried for her brother to care.
