Ready Or Not

Chapter two

Kate was not one of those girls where she becomes obsessed with a football boy. Nope Kate is different she loves to game doesn't like to socialize she doesn't have A lot of friends by her words " I like to keep my Friends circle small". Kate and  her parents move to Los Angeles two days ago she hasn't been to school yet so she doesn't have any friends yet Kate would choose gaming over any party. "Kate did you unpack yet?" Yelled Zoe Kate is up in her room playing with her switch and listening to music not paying any attention to the world. The door to Kate's room opens and her mom was coming in with more boxes in her hand. Kate sighs " mom can't I just do this tomorrow" Zoe sighs "that's what you said two days ago so no you will do it today" Zoe dropped the boxes on the floor and left the room. "Okay Kate we can do 1 minute of cleaning up and then we will award you with 2 minutes of gaming" she paused "yeah sounds nice okay let's go to work" the day flu by and Kate is still unpacking and cleaning her new room but as she said with one minute of clean a 2 minute of gaming. It takes Kate way longer then she expected it to be but she manages to get everything done by midnight. Zoe comes in with a plate full of good food she puts it on Kates desk and gives her a kiss on her forehead and leaves. Kate sighs and runs to her desk to eat, she turns on her PC and grabs her headphone and started to game while eating dinner. Time flies when your on your phone or PC. Kate checks the clock on her bedstand and it's already 4 AM in the morning Kate closes her PC jumps into a bed hoping she will fall asleep before her mother comes in and wakes her up for school. Kate just closed her eyes when the door flew open with her mom yelling at her to wake up because school is about to start I think we can all relate. Kate sighs and wakes up. " I know you were gaming all night but still you are going to school" said Zoe Kate turns her head to her mother with a shocked look on her face " how did you?" Zoe started to laugh "you talk while you game so I heard you YELL last night until I woke up which was 4:30 and I heard you jump into bed like it's going to help" said Zoe with her hand crossed Kate makes a weird noise and gets up from the bed she takes a deep breath and walks to the bathroom "you have 5 minutes to get ready do you hear me" Kate gives her mom a thumbs up to tell her she got it. Kate takes no more then 2 minutes in there she comes out showered and ready to go to school. Kate leaves her room walks down the stairs and to the living room. "Hey dad" said Kate. Her dad gives her a light smile "hey kitten did you pack your bag?" She turns her head to where her bag is and shakes her head "okay then go do it you don't want to be late right." Kate gives her dad a hug then went to get her bag all packed and ready for school "Kate come here and get your lunch" yelled Zoe. Kate zipped her bag,takes it and runs to the kitchen. " thanks for the food mom" she takes her lunch bag and head straight to the door she puts her shoes on and leaves. Kate was about to run when she hears her name being called from inside. She runs back to the house opens the door and there was her dad standing with the switch in his hand "my Kate going to school without this Who are you" the both laugh she takes the switch, thanks her dad and leaves for school.
