I don't know how I ended up going to work earlier. Usually I have to fight Lucas just to get his lazy ass up and do the laundry and dishes but surprisingly the house looks really clean and quiet.
I walk up to the kitchen counter and there laid a note " Lucas here I dropped Amara at daycare on my way to school hope you have a good day".
Umm this is odd and very very strange something seems fishy considering Lucas never does anything unless he's asked to.
I brush that away and head to work.

As soon as the elevator doors open I see so many of my workers gathering at nex's table.
"What the hell is happening here?!" I yelled at them.
They started to scatter everywhere each one of them heading back to their tables.
What on gods earth is this man doing here again!
"Greetings"
"No don't give me this greeting bullshit where is nex?" I snapped
"Fired?" He said calmly
When I tell you I became so furious who does he think he is coming into my office and firing my best worker.
"You know what just leave" I don't know what he's on to but he needs to leave.
"I'm afraid I can't do that" he replied with his English accent trying to impress me
"You know what whatever just don't come near me okay!" I had to go sign papers anyway I don't exactly have time for childish games.
As I walked up to my office he decided to stop me from opening the door.
"I also forgot to inform you on one little tiny detail" he grinned
I didn't say a word back I just wanted him to finish and leave me alone.
"Welcome to my office"
My jaw dropped my blood became cold, holding back all the tears and anger. This is just unfair.
He opened the doors to the office and sat on my office chair how dare he.
"Well I see you didn't exactly accept my invitation to the ball therefore I had to take away your one favorite thing your job. I really do like owning your job everything is nice here to be honest." He said while fidgeting with my lucky pen
"What makes you think that I would even want to be seen with you at a ball. I told you what you wanted to know now just leave me, my family and my job alone" I yelled while trying to hold back tears
"Only if you accept the invitation then I'll give you your job back princess" he said while having the biggest grin on his face.
"Screw you" and I stormed for the door until he stood up from his chair.
"You're fired"
What the actual fuck.
I left the office building crying and covering my face wishing no one had seen my face.

"Phe come on it's been 3 days and you're still not over it all you've got to get up"
"Kira leave me alone please" i said as my voice muffled under the covers of my cold sheets.
"Alright I'll go make some soup for you and the kids okay" She rubbed my hand and left heading to the kitchen.
20 minutes later I hear knocks on my door and mu brother Lucas walks is with a plate of miso soup.
"Kira had to run some errands she said she'll come back tonight or maybe tomorrow" he said placing the bowl on my bedside table.
He sat on my bed telling me how I should get up and move on with my life blah blah blah.
"Don't you get it...this job is the only thing keeping food on the table and a roof on top of your head" I cried
"I'll get a job I'll do what ever it takes just don't stress your self too much Phe" he left closing the door to my room.
I sat on my bed looking at my Closet facing my bed.
I look at my bedside table and hold on to the invitation and crumble it in my hands.
I finally got up just to throw the invitation on the trash and headed back to my bed.

I woke up to Lucas's voice
"Phe wake up theres this kinda good looking dude outside the door with some people"
"No don't let them in" I said assuming it's the Plummer's or some workers.
Suddenly I hear my door slam open.
"Get up you're going to that damn ball wether you like it or not and I'm not taking no for an answer"
I rub my eyes and look up seeing this evil ass demon called sorin standing out my door.
"Get out!" I yelled at him
"Shame to leave a good cooked miso soup on your bed side table you know" he said while looking around my room.
"Well isn't that rude" he said reaching for my trash can
"Do you know how much time it took me to get this invitation done and sent to you?!" He said pulling my sheets right off of me.
"Oh my lord could you at least put on some shorts for fuck sakes why are you half naked!?" He covered his eyes while peeking a little
"First off you come here stealing my job and now you're invading my privacy what else do you plan on doing huh?!" I yelled at him pulling my covers back on top of my head.
"If you decide to come I'll give you your job back how about that?" He said
"Not a chance I'm falling for this one" I snapped back
"Oh right did you forget the part where I said you have no choice? Oh and my guard took your siblings for ice cream".
"What happened to nex?" I said worriedly
"He found a better job trust me" at least this made me feel a little better I guess.
He then walked up to my closet trying to open it, that's when an adrenaline stormed into my body making me run right in front of him right before he opened try messy closet.
Shit I forgot I don't have shorts on and I'm standing in front of him with only a baggy shirt and undies..
He looked me up and down and placed his hand right on top of my head breathing heavily .
He came up to my ear and Whispered "move out the way"
That's when he shoved me off making me land on the floor he then opened my closet and handed me a pair of the vampire diaries shorts.
"Put this on and come to the living room okay"he said walking away wearing his usual black suit.
Right after he opened the door he looked at me while I was at the floor and he let out this dumb laugh and proceeded to make more demands "20 minutes and I better see you out of this room"
Who does he think he is making demands and shoving me IN MY HOUSE.
You know what he may not know who I am but I sure am one stubborn girl
I went straight back to bed this time taking off my top as well.
