[At a Junkyard in Vale]

Jaune is seen sparring with Adam in sword-to-sword combat.

While Jaune uses a katana handle with a blade made out of his aura, Adam is using Wilt. As they are fighting, Jaune stabs his sword into the ground. Adam quickly dodges as a whip of aura rises out of the ground. Soon, the whip dissipates and Jaune takes his sword out of the ground.

"Interesting," Adam said.

"The basis is energy manipulation techniques. Just with Aura," Jaune said.

He smiled.

"I believe you can do the same not just with aura, but your semblance."

Adam nodded.

Jaune's scroll begins to vibrate. He takes it out and sees a text from Eve.

"It's Eve," Jaune said.

Adam nodded.

Jaune put his hand on Adam's shoulder, the hand glowing with aura. After a minute, he let go of Adam.

"Train well," Jaune said, earning a nod from Adam.

Jaune went over to the black suit that was hanging in the corner. He put it on and proceeded to leave the junkyard and meet up with her.

[At a Columbarium]

Jaune and Eve stood in front of one of the compartments. She was in disguise, wearing a black mourning dress with a black veil to cover her head. Inside the compartments was a white urn. Unlike other cases, there were no mementos beside it or even a name on the urn. Just a white urn.

Eve closed her eyes, remembering one of her and Adam's birthdays.

"I want to blow out the candles!"

"No me!"

"I'm the oldest!

"By 2 minutes!"

"Now. Now. There are two candles. Both of you should enjoy days like this."

"Your mother's right. Days like these don't happen every day."

The memory ended.

"No...They don't...Not anymore," Eve thought.

Eve began to cry. The veil only served to mask her tears.

She hated how she and Adam would never be able to return to their home.

She hated what happened to her parents and Adam.

She hated how she couldn't even give her parents a proper burial for fear of what some people would desecrate their graves.

Jaune walked over and put his hand on her shoulder. Eve turns around, seeing him holding out a handkerchief.
