"I said no one fucking enters." She yelled. I didn't care. She sounded hurt, broken like she was about to give up. I know her more than anyone else, her voice when she felt hopeless, her breathing abnormal and muffling noises from her end. She had a panic attack and didn't know it and this was not the first time. I barged through the backdoor bruising my shoulder doing so. I felt for her, only her, no one else.

Running across the room, I saw shelves scattered everywhere. Where is my princess? My heart pounded against my chest. She'd be curled up in a ball any minute now, crying.

I run across the room looking for any portal who can take me to her. "Baby, where are you?" I yelled. I was filled with anger, knowing that she is hurt and I can't get to her, knowing that Carlos did hurt her down there. I was angry at myself for even allowing my fiance to get to Carlos when I could have gotten him some other way. I'm never going to put her in this danger anymore.

She bangs ceaselessly on a door in the corner of the room turning, to see huge chains and a fallen shelf on it. She had been trapped. I dashed across the room kicking the shelf off to pull off the chains thinking how she got in there.

The chains had not been fully off. She'd alerted me that men were coming in the room and she's below the door. "I know baby, I'm getting you out." I extended my arms to her to see her sweet face smiling at me. She looked down at her feet and reached out to me.

The men below shot their gun mercilessly after realizing Carlos was dead. I pulled Irina in my arms away from the door when one of the men shouted a grenade to the others.

"We need to leave now, this door can be blown down in any second." She pointed to the other door in the room, limping in my arms.

"Are you okay baby?" I lifted her bridal style, it was so fucking dark in here making it impossible for me to see her. She nodded in my arms before she heaved a sigh. I'd taken her word for it, I'd believe anything she said to me.

Getting out was not as easy as getting in. Men were awaiting us there and with nothing stopping me from protecting Irina like I promised, they were all down with one bullet. I wanted to hold her, shower her, tuck her to bed, show her how much I love her and regret putting her in this situation.

James sped down the entrance taking down anyone in the way and I didn't care one bit. I was frustrated, I saw red. I pulled Irina closer to me, her heartbeat slowing down every second that passed when I told her she's safe.

"Is she fine?" James watched from the rearview mirror. "You know I hate seeing her like this. Without her we'd all fall apart. She kept us all together, boss." I've never realized this if James didn't mention it. If Irina got killed we'd never get over her death, we'd all be miserable. I kept quiet, she's safe and that's all that matters. James pulled over into the driveway, everyone outside waiting for us in comfortable silence.

"Baby, we're at the house." I shook her gently trying to wake her up. No response. Fuck. "Irina?" I scan her body to see she is bleeding out. "Fuck." I hollered, my chest tightening. "Get the fucking doctor. She's bleeding out."
