Lilith has traveled a very long way to come see this James Conrad her colleagues have told her about. Hes very hard to convince to do jobs such as these. Her colleagues dont think of her much more than a pretty face but shes furthered a lot in their field. Shes brilliantly smart. They told her about Conrad in hopes he would turn her down and her hope to prove the Kalanoro  exists would be shut down. Its very hot in Beijing. She was informed he stayed here and was a regular at some bar here. So she boomed a stay at a sketchy hotel across the way and has decided to give it a whirl. She throws her bags down and shoves her room key in her pocket and leaves to the bar. As she enters she sees its crowded with tons of young Asian men and women. She wasnt told qhat James looked like or if her was white, black, hispanic, asian. She has no clue. So she takes a seat at a single empty table next to her pool table. Watching her surroundings. A waitress comes up and asks her if she wants anything. To calm her nerves she orders a whiskey. She takes a deep breath and opens up her file and begins to go over in her head what she will say to him. The waitress brings her her whiskey and then swiftly walks away to another table. James has already noticed her. This bar doesnt get many white women. So she sticks out. James is playing pool as he glances over at her from time to time. Lilith looking up and looking around. Dressed in a thick strapped powder blue tank top thats tucked into a pair of khaki shorts and rer long black hair braided and draped down her shoulder on her chest. Her skin tan with a golden glow. Her eyes a hypnotizing light light blue. Almost like a aquamarine colored diamond. The look accompanied by brown steel toed boots. Clearly worn down. Little does she know shea sitting at the table James was at before he and his drink traveled to the pool table. James wins the bet he made and begins to make his way back. He walks over and aggressively sits his beer down. She looks up with on eye brow raised.

"Can i help you?" She asks with a slight attitude.

"I was sitting here." He tells her.

"Well the table was empty when I got here so." She says going back to her file. James sits down and stares at her. He sits up and leans over to see what she is reading. She closes it fast.

"Kalanoro....interesting." James says sitting back taking a sip of his beer.

"Yeah, do you know anyone by the name of James Conrad?" She asks.

"Maybe, why?" He asks.

"Thats for me to know and him to find out." She says sitting back. The bar has no AC so shes sweating a bit. Wiping sweat from her forehead.

"You want him to find the Kalanoro." He says laughing.

"Not find, ive already found it. I need someone to help me track down 8ts exact location and help me gather evidence." She says. His eyes widen and eye brows arch up.

"You found it?" He asks.

"Ive come into contact with one." She says.

"Thats dangerous...in myths they dont typically like humans." He says.

"Well i dont come with guns and means to kill them or being them back as a freak show." She says.

"Then why acknowledge them?" He asks.

"Well...tons of people hunt them down...forcing them to find a new home every time. I want to protect them. Make a safe space for them. In their own habitat." She says. James squints his eyes at her.

"Hmm..." he says eyeing her.

"What?" She asks.

"Youre a scientist?" He asks.

"Yes." She says prepared for some jab at her lack of knowledge because of how she looks.

"Well...how about this...play a game of pool with me....if you win ill take you to James....if i win...forget youre a scientist for a night and just be a woman and...." he says leaning in to whisper to her.
