The Beast of UA

Part 1

Rumi finally finished unpacking her room but by the time she was done decorating it was already late. She decided to call it quits and go to bed, as she was getting ready to go to sleep she heard a monstrous roar come from somewhere in the building. The roar made her jump to her feet, she got curious and decided to find where it came from. Rumi explored the building until she heard the roar again but it sounded like it was coming from outside, she followed the sound until it led her into the woods.

Thanks to her enhanced hearing she was able to locate the roars coming from a cabin. She was confused and said, "Aizawa didn't tell us there was a cabin out here. Are they hiding something?" Rumi entered the cabin and followed the noises that led her to the basement, she opened the door only to see a room filled with darkness, she slowly walked in then said, "H-hello?" There was silence until a very low growl emerged from the darkness. Rumi's instincts told her to run as fast as she could but her body wouldn't move.

In her frozen state, she saw blood-red eyes from the darkness then all of a sudden a big figure tried to lunge at her. Her body snapped out of it as she dodged the attack but what she saw next would make her blood run cold. There was enough light from the door for Rumi to see something she thought only existed in myths and movies. It was a werewolf or someone with a werewolf quirk.

Rumi saw how it was chained to the wall but she still felt sacred. The werewolf tried to attack again but a collar around its neck activated a powerful shock causing it to fall to the ground. It painfully growled until the shock stopped, it was breathing heavily and silently whined from the high voltage shock. Rumi felt bad seeing the werewolf and possible person in pain, at that moment she made a decision.

Rumi cautiously approached the werewolf while saying, "H-hey are you okay?" The werewolf looked up at Rumi and started to growl, Rumi stopped and said, "It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt you." Rumi raised her hands to the werewolf to show she didn't mean any harm, the werewolf's growls grew smaller but remained on guard.

Rumi was now face to face with the werewolf, she looked at the collar around its neck and said, "I'm not gonna watch you get hurt, I'm gonna get this thing off you." Rumi gets a grip on the collar and with all her strength she manages to break off the collar from the werewolf's neck. Rumi gave a sigh of relief and says, "There, no more collar." The werewolf stopped growling and only stared at Rumi. After a minute Rumi says, "Uh you're welcome?"

The werewolf huffs in Rumi's face then turns around and lays down. Rumi wanted to talk to it but decided to leave it be and said, "Um I'll see you in the morning." The werewolf responded with heavy snores which made Rumi smile while thinking (It must have been tired. I don't blame it.) Rumi left the room and made sure to close the door then goes back to her room, in a matter of seconds Rumi fell asleep.

The next morning Rumi wakes up to the sound of her alarm so she turns it off by punching the off button. Memories of last night flooded Rumi's head which caused her to shoot out of bed and rush to do her morning routine. Ten minutes later Rumi was making her way into the woods not worrying about being seen since it was early. She made it to the basement and opened the door to see a six-foot boy with green hair examining the broken collar from last night.

The sound of the door opening got the attention of the stranger then turned around to see Rumi. Images of last night flashed through his head and he said, "Oh it's you. You probably have questions, follow me." The boy leads Rumi back upstairs to the dining room, they sit at the dining table and the boy starts by saying, "Ask away." Rumi wasted no time as she said, "Who are you and what's your quirk?"

The boy sighed then said, "My name is Izuku Midoriya and my quirk is Werewolf, I have enhanced strength, speed, senses, and regeneration. Unfortunately, I also have the same weaknesses such as silver, wolfsbane, and losing control during a full moon. Now, who are you?" Rumi says, "I'm Rumi Usigiyama, my quirk is rabbit and I can do anything a rabbit can do."
