I looked out my window
I noticed they way the moon looked slightly dented
like a piece has been broken off
It reminded me of how my heart
used to be
sometimes that's how we feel
Like our heart will never get better
that the pain will never go away
but in time it will
It will look just like a full moon
whole and beautiful again
