Y/n smiled as she danced with her friends on the dance floor, her drink in her hand, the other in the air. She laughed with her friends as they sang the lyrics of the song on top of their lungs, dancing with each other.
She giggled as she walked over to the drinking station, going to refill her cup. "that's your third cup sunny" mattia said as he walked over to her, smiling as she filled her cup. "that means you've been watching me?" she asked making him chuckle softly, looking down at her.
"i gotta keep an eye on you, you tend to get wild when drunk" he said, y/n smiling while taking a sip of her drink. "i don't get wild" she defended herself, mattia laughing loudly before sighing.
"you literally jumped in the pool last time" he said, y/n rolling her eyes while shaking her head. "that was one time and in my defense the water looked nice" she said, mattia smiling while drinking.
He found himself looking her up and down, taking in how good she looked in her dress. They were just friends but there was no denying that there was some sort of attraction between them. It all started with that silly nickname he gave her, 'sunny'.
Ever since they met in freshman year, she was always happy and smiling, even in the worst moments. She was like a burst of sunshine, hence the name sunny.
He bit his lip softly as he smiled, staring as she drank from her cup. "you got a bit a drool right there" she joked making him dramatically roll his eyes while smiling.
