"I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna break up with him." I talked on my phone while I pace down the street of Josh's building. "It's been too long, Mickey. I've been home for 7 days since the cabin and he still hasn't contacted me. I'm basically a ghost to him now! I'm breaking up with him........ Yes, I will..... I'm definitely doing it.... I'm doing it. I'm doing it. I'm doing it. Okay, please call me back. Bye." I hang up the phone.
It's cool. I've broken up with guys before. No big deal. What I'm really worried about is Elena. She looked so bummed out the last time I saw her when she returned my earrings. Does she want me for Josh? Cos I'm really hoping she'd want me for herself- no! Fuck. You are not going after your about-to-be-ex-boyfriend's mother. That'd be just too weird. I walked past the reception. I smiled at thegirls but they have this weird thing on their faces. What? Did I step on poop or something? The elevator door finally opened. I was throttling my way to Josh's office. My knuckles were in the air as I was about to knock when I hear a faint moan coming from the inside. We're still technically "together" So I turned the knob and to my surprise, it opened. But that's not the most surprising part because I also saw Josh's hand on his business partner, Carl's hard-rocking abs. My jaw dropped all the way to the lobby. No, all the way to Kansas. They're kissing. And they still haven't noticed me! "Ahem," A pair of baby blue eyes landed on me. The same eyes I met on a dating website that specifically said Straight on his bio. Who is now about to become my ex-boyfriend. Very very quickly now. He pushed Carl away who was clearly sucking on his neck like a dirty, slimy little handsome leach. "Grace," Josh said. Now they're both looking at me. "I-I can explain."
