A week has passed since that night and everyday you went out to see if you can find Powder and there has been no hope. Your hair has been growing being to tired or lazy to cut it, almost at its full length.
In those passing days a new recruit came in, and you were on training him how to fight.
"Your too slow Noa, trying again." You said with a stern voice. Hearing heavy breathing from the boy as he runs with his fist to you, slapping his fist to the side making him trip and almost run into the pole of the ring.
"Again, really we're not doing combat right now Noa" You said.
You and jinx had grown close to each other very quickly actually. But ever since Noa came in your time with her is cut short. You would come in late to her, of course this child barley sleeps she's up and Adam but your tired by the time you get back so you go straight to bed and get knocked out.
You turned around not feeling that he's moving. Seeing him on the ground laying on his back out off breath, his chest heaving up and down.
After a few seconds he sat up hanging on the ropes. Pulling him up from the ground. "Hold on-" He said but being cut off before he said another word by you.
"Take a break." You said calmly getting down from the ring walking to a nearby wall to lean on it. "You don't even remotely look tired." He said wheezing his breath out. Bending down to rest his hands on his knees.
"I've been doing this longer than you." You started letting your head drop forwards closing your eyes. "Yeah no shit."
Training with him has been fun, working on his reflex skills but everytime you walk away he would run up on you and try to attack you. Sometimes you'd punch him point blank in the face, one time making his nose bleed, thinking he was in a position to either dodge or block your punch. To think he would learn from the past few 10 tries but no.
"Hey come up and fight me for real this time."He asked leaning on the rope resting his head in the palm of his hand.
"No." You sighed out. "Oh come on, I've been dodging and blocking ever since I came hear." He pushed. "Uh... no you haven't and you'll thank me for it later." You said pushing yourself off of the wall, walking back to the ring pulling yourself up by the ropes.
"Your such a fun sponge just once please and then we can do all the dodging and blocking you want." He pushed again raising his hands to rest on his hips lifting his brow with a shit eating smirk on his face.
You wanted to decline, but that smirk on his face irked you so much you wouldn't mind breaking his pretty little face.
"Alright brat, come at me." You said making a come here motion with your hand. Standing with you hands behind your back waiting for him to break into a sprint.
