"Ah...whoa! Albus, stop moving!"
Lyra stared at what she was seeing. Right next to the snow topped, glittering, gold and red ornament covered Christmas tree was the three Potter children, balancing on top of each other. The oldest child, James, who was in Lyra's grade, and one of the most popular fifth years, was standing at the bottom, smiling while holding two big signs up. Standing on his brother's shoulder's was Albus, who was one year younger than James, who had a snow globe attached to the jacket he was wearing. His hands were standing up, balancing his younger sister, Lily on his hands. Lily was at the top, twirling a baton.
Harry Potter was standing near their side, close enough that if they fell, he could catch them, but also far enough that if they fell, they wouldn't topple on him. Harry was holding jingle bells, and awkwardly tapping them.
"Albu-" Lily started, then saw a crowd of people watching her. She smiled. "Merry Christmas! The Potter kids have a surprise performance!"
Lysander smirked, seeing Lyra, Roxanne and Rose's reactions.
"Play it Dad!" Albus said, using his eyes to motion to his dad to ensure Lily didn't fall. Harry started shaking the jingle bells, and James flipped the sign around so that it said,
"Welcome to the Potter Christmas Party!"
James flipped the other side around, and it said,
"Pwease Clap, so we don't fall. -Lily, who hijacked James' signs."
The crowd started to laugh, Lyra included. James raised his eyebrows, evidently confused about why they were laughing, then threw the signs away, then used his now open hands to point to Albus, who tapped the side of the snow globe.
James' bangs flew down on top of his face, and he tried desperately to get it off his face without ruining their show.
Lyra smiled.
She shook her head and looked up to Lily, who was twirling her baton to the rhythm of Harry's beat.
Lyra saw more guests come and have their eyes widen at the Potter kid's secret performance. Lily wobbled again, but but on a brave face and threw the baton up and caught it in one hand.
The audience clapped, and Lily tried to bow on top of Albus. Under the weight of her bending, Albus toppled over and fell face first on to James' sign. Which meant Lily also fell, her baton flying out of her hand and falling right on top of her brother. Harry dropped the jingle bells and ran to try and catch Lily, but Lily just fell right on top of him.
James was the only one standing over the three fallen figures, his signs scattered around. He was biting his bottom lip, trying not to laugh as his siblings and dad tried to get up. Ginny and Luna came running through the crowd, Ginny's eyes wide with fear.
She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw her husband and two children get up, okay. Harry had fallen on Albus, and Lily had fallen on Harry, so everybody except poor Albus had a cushion. Albus got up, brushed off his pants and smiled. "Ta daaa." He said, which made everyone sure he was alright.
As the crowd started to disperse, Lily added, "That was totally intentional!"
Everyone laughed. "Wanna congratulate them?" Rose suggested.
"Sure, why not?" Roxanne replied, then the three walked up to the three siblings, who were now patting each other on the back and checking for wounds. Harry had already gotten up, and was now on the other side of their gigantic backyard, trying to explain to Ginny how that wasn't unsafe.
