You widened your eyes even more at the statement. "You mean I was taken away by my mother?" you asked in denial. "Yes, after all that happened at the pizzeria your mother didn't want he anywhere near the place." he explained. You nodded your head slowly. "I didn't want to leave the pizzeria or the animatronics so I refused to have you or myself move." he says sadly. "Then one morning I woke up to silence which is a rarity so I went to check on you and neither you or your mother were present," he sighs then adds. "I couldn't make a police report since what happened at the pizzeria with the kids." He shudders slightly making you feel remorseful. You wanted to hug him but, you still had unanswered questions. "After all those years why didn't you bother to look or call people?" you asked in a slightly angry tone. "I called your mother's side of the family and they refused to tell me and my side didn't know a thing around that time I was dealing with lawsuits that were about problems that happened at the pizzeria." he explained further. You knew full well that he was right but, you still asked. "How about after the lawsuits were dealt with?" He looked at you with a serious face. "I gave up-I knew I'd never see you again but, look where we are now.You hesitantly hugged your father. You understood him if you put yourself in his shoes. Though, you inwardly vowed if your child went missing to never stop looking for them. He didn't have the advantage of police or any authorities which is a big thing that could've helped. After a very long, silent hug you remembered you were here for business reasons.
"I hate to ruin the mood but, I was here on business." you said. "Right, I'm sorry-I accept your proposal I'd be happy to reopen the place with my daughter." The sincerity in his voice made you flinch as you realized. 'Freddy is going to kill him out of revenge.' Your father got up to head towards the pizzeria but, you quickly stopped him hoping you could explain what was going down without your guide watching you two creepily. "Wait uh." you hugged him then whispered in his ear. "Freddy is seeking revenge." You made it look casual as you released the hug. Your father nodded. "We can try to reason with him dear." he said calmly. A guilty feeling rose to you as you knew Freddy wouldn't reason with him. You got even guiltier as you saw Freddy by the pizzeria's window. Your father didn't notice or acted like he didn't notice Freddy. Your father politely opened the door for you as you walked in slowly with your head hung low. A pang of anger struck you. 'Freddy knew he was my father too!' you screamed in your head. As soon as you made eye contact with Freddy you sent a glare his way. Freddy being the 'gentleman' he is sent a mischievous smirk your way. Your dad followed your stare to Freddy. He looked like he was going to have a heart attack then and there! "F-Freddy!" he exclaimed. "So you remember me." his smirk turned into a ferocious snarl. "I made your design and gave you meaning to life how would I ever forget!" he retorted offended. You stood silently as they argued on.
"Why did you leave?" Freddy growled. "I was having personal issues and you know it!" he replied. Freddy was in the same position as you in a way. You thought your father abandoned you just as Freddy felt your father had abandoned there. "You could've made time and what about after the issues were resolved?" Freddy said angrily. "The pizzeria couldn't be saved but, now with the technology it can be remade and more trusted since animatronics were fairly new then."Your father defended. Freddy was left speechless knowing he was right. Freddy was in obvious denial currently due to the situation at hand. "Shut up!" Freddy screeched and lunges at your father. Your father expected it and quickly moved to the side. "Freddy calm down!" you yelled. "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!" he screeches. "Yes, I do and you know it since you knew my father and you knew I wouldn't recognize him since it happened long ago." you poured your emotions into the sentence with sincerity. Freddy looked sadly at you for a second. He froze in place then pointed to the door. "Go." he said. "B-but-!" you stuttered. "GO!" he commanded darkly.
You and your father scrambled to the door before anything bad happened. "Follow me (y/n)." he said. "W-what we're just leaving?" you inquired. "For today-it's getting late and we need to go home." he explained. "My car!" you whined. You looked at the empty lot where your car once was. Your father chuckled quietly on the side. "My car!" you grumbled. "Need a lift?" he asked sarcastically. You nodded as you followed your father to his car. You were a bit hesitant since he was a man and you didn't know if you could trust him. You had no choice in the matter so you just went along. "Where will I stay?" your car keys as well as your house keys to the house your mother and you shared. The reason you couldn't go directly gohome since it was about 7 pm looking and your mother worked long hours to support the two of you so she ws rarely home and when she was she was sleeping. "My place since I doubt you have your keys." he stated. You swore he had read your mind for a second. "Yeah, that sounds alright." you replied. There was a long silence during the car ride until you arrived at his house.
He lead you to a spare room where you would be staying. "Go to sleep now and we'll leave early tomorrow morning." he said. You simply nodded and fell asleep as he walked out. Tomorrow would be a big a day you could almost sense it..
