They were running as fast as they could, a Toriningen right behind them. Both of them were mostly running in circles, considering that the number world has a lot of space but almost every turn they took led them to the same route. Y/N was getting tired of seeing the same green walls with those blue faces on them over and over again.
Eventually, Y/N was met with a wall, a blue head with orange arms coming out of the sides, a zipper that formed a smile on its face is all that could be seen on the green wall. They ended up at a dead end.
As they were in a state of realization, the Toriningen's footsteps were getting closer and closer. Remembering that they could use the Medamaude or pinch their cheek to escape the Toriningen, they started to move their arm to their face. Just as they were about to pinch their cheek, the Toriningen caught up to them and everything went black.
They opened their eyes, just to be met with an inescapable and enclosed space, just as expected. However, something about this room was different. As they were examining the room, they noticed a red eye on the ground. Why was that there? They also noticed that the ground was nothing but pitch-black, there was no crudely sketched version of the number world moving on it, nor were there any random numbers written across it, despite the walls being the same as the ones in the number world.
They touched the red eye out of curiosity, just to be greeted by the same eye fastly spreading all over the floor, even to whatever world was beyond the walls of the small room, until it covered the entire floor.
"What the hell?" they asked themself. Deciding to equip the Medamaude, they teleported back to the Nexus. They shrugged it off, as they opened the door to the next dream world, wondering what they'll be seeing once they closed the door.
