I'm sitting at my small desk in class staring at the clock on the wall, longing for it to strike 3:15 so that I can FINALLY go home for summer break. It feels like decades but soon enough the bell rings and the hustle of students rushing down the hall to get out of the gates suddenly grows. I keep my head down and tuck the purple streaks of my hair behind my ear, holding my things close to my chest. I seem to bump into people quite a bit but I finally get to my form room. My bag is in the cupboard as usual, so I stuff my things into it, and loop it onto my arm. I'm walking out of the class room door when I hear my name being called from outside, 'ZERRINNNN!!!!' Shouts the voice. It's Cree. His light brown curtain bangs hang infront of his eyes as he waves, smiling with all his perfect teeth. I smile, 'hi Cree!'
'Where have you been!?'
I stare at him blankly, 'uh... class?'
He just loops his arm into mine and starts dragging me out of school, the crowd of people had died down quite allot by the time we're out of the gates and on our way home. 'So!' Cree starts with a smile 'what ya doin next week?'
'Uhm.. nothing much.' I say plainly
'Well... I was wondering, would you like to come to the cinema with me and a friend?'
My eyes widen at the thought of the ✨CINEMA✨.

I stand in front of my mirror, tugging at my shirt. I put my hand in my pocket and walk out of my bedroom, my mind spinning with questions; Who is this friend? Where are they from? What do they look like? How do they sound? What's their name? I sit by the door waiting for Cree to message me saying he's here. A few minutes pass and suddenly a PING goes off from my phone, 'we're here!!! ✨' says the message. I get up and walk out the door locking it behind me. I get into Cree's Dad's car and realise there's a girl with long blonde hair in a pony tail, her soft pale skin glowing as she sits there. 'Uhm... Zerrin?' Cree says waving his hand infront of my face. IVEBEENSTARINGATHERFORSOLONG! 'Yeah?' I say smoothly as if to play it off, pulling my feet in and closing the door. The girl looks at me, so I hold out my hand for her to shake but she just hesitates and holds my hand giving me a questioning look. My face goes a shade of red and Cree bursts out laughing while stumbling on his words, 'she meant' more laughter, 'shake her hand ya dummy!!!' He's laughing hysterically now and she's flung my hand away and turned to face the door with her face also a shade of red. 'I didn't know!' She exclaims, her voice is BEAUTIFUL.

We arrive at the cinema soon enough and as I hop out of the car she walks over to me, Cree helping his dad with bags and bags of snacks. 'So!' She starts ' didn't get off to a good start... well,' she holds out her hand 'I'm Evelyn' I take her hand and shake it 'I'm Zerrin' I say proudly. She giggles and it's so cute I think I'm going to explode. 'Well' she takes my hand and holds it like we've been friends for years, ' let's go!' She pulls me along running towards Cree but instead of stopping to help him she runs past him. Why is this girl so angelic... 'eeeek! I'm so excited!!' Evelyn exclaims. 'Guys! Wait up!' Cree whines as he places the bags against the wall of the cinema. I stand awkwardly with Evelyn still gripping my hand. 'Well I see you guys made friends, huh?' Cree says with a smirk on his face. I flush a shade of red again and pull my hand away but as I do Evelyn tightens her grip so I can't pull it away. 'Wha-' 'shush' she says cutting me off. We walk into the cinema and find our seats, I'm sat on the end, then Evelyn and then Cree.
